You stated on PFA you were around average age, time for a poll to confirm this theory. I find it hard to believe that a considerable number of members here are 40+

46+ probably going to get a lot more votes than you think.

Druff just whines and complains like an old lady, he's actually not even middle-aged yet (but he's closing in fast)
(long before there was a PFA i had my Grenade & Crossbones avatar at DD)

No wonder Druff doesn't have time to add us to the secret jasep forum.

Too busy @ Alan Best Buys where he's an admin there too. Funny how he doesn't mind that yet he would never promote anyone to mod here.

In case anyone is wondering, Alan Best Buys is not my forum, but it runs on the PFA server.

Basically the forum has turned into a discussion of casino gambling (mainly about Caesars), even though that wasn't its original purpose. I found it when googling info regarding Total Rewards.

It's on the PFA server because it was being hosted on an awful shared server which had many issues, so I offered to move the whole thing to my server. So that's what we did.

It has a different atmosphere than this forum, and most of the posters there are over 50.

1/2 the users in the 40+ range, very interesting indeed. thought most here were from the nwp/dd era who were then in their 20s/early 30s, i was wrong.

Hard to believe in 2008 I was in the 26-30 category. Been a remarkable run the last 8 years. Onward and Upward.

I'm 21, but I started lurking NWP sooo fucking long ago when I was shooting off on Full Tilt back in the day.

It's funny, because when I first played online poker, I incorrectly assumed most were my age or older, but in reality I was the old guy at the table, even when I was in my early 30s. I would meet all of these people and they would be kids.

On this site, it's the opposite. You assume you are dealing with a lot of younger people, and then you meet or get to know everyone, and find out the average age is around 40.

Sometimes n00bs come here and say things like, "I don't know if you guys can relate to my situation because I'm an old guy", and then it turns out the person is like 37, and the "young guys" he's saying don't understand him are 10-15 years older.
