I have a friend from the Sac area who uses Tinder a lot, and a 30-year-old woman came up to where he freaked out and felt like he was looking at me. Said he couldn't bring himself to swipe right because he would feel like he was being gay with me if they were ever to hook up.

On a somewhat related note, I came across a girl I liked on a webchat system in the mid '90s, but I hadn't seen her picture yet, because she had just gotten on the internet for the first time. When she finally got around to scanning one, she looked a whole lot like a young version of my mom, and I couldn't go through with it anymore.

If she was your sibling I'd get it and see some resemblance and it wouldnt strike me as strange, but she's not one of those cases where you meet someone and absolutely know they're related to someone else. Now older, this happens to me all the time with people's kids. I'll stare uncomfortably like a creeper at some teen-age girl before I realize she's noticed. Thankfully when I blurt out "I'm sorry, you must be so and so's kid" I've been right.

This isn't that to me. Your insistence that others aren't looking close enough makes me question if this is a ruse/test of some sort.

At 30, and with your significant other in thread, we can at least rule out a very late paternity suit.
