it becomes extremely choppy and the picture isn't smooth.

i've cleared my cache and internet settings/history.

still gay as fuck.

any ideas as to why my computer is being faggot?

I'll assume that by "not smooth" you are being redundant and mean choppy. If you actually mean low res, then it's most likely an internet issue. Netflix and Youtube will bring it down to 240p if your connection sucks.

Could be an issue with Flash. An easy way to test this is to go watch something on YouTube. I think they use HTML5 by default now, so if it plays smoothly you've narrowed it down.

i did the speedtest and my speeds seems low but i am watching something on popcorn time now(which is running smoothly btw) and that might be why my speeds are low

Run Ccleaner to clear out your temp internet files, cookies, and all the other shit. Restart computer, do a speed test again. Bet it improves.

in which case one of two things is happening;

one) youre saturating your internet connect with either outbound scanning traffic or spam

two) malware is redirecting your browser traffic through a local proxy that sniffs and/or injects iframes/popups into the stream.

consider installing 'wireshark' so you can look at the traffic youre generating/receiving. chances are you'll be able to recognize pretty quickly if some sneak shit is going on.

Look at his speed test results. A video card would have nothing to do with that. More likely TWC is fucking with people using a lot of bandwidth. I really don't think the Ccleaner did it. I think restarting the computer did it. Residential ISPs use dynamic IP addresses (most of the time). I think TWC is slowing down IP addresses who are using "too much bandwidth." Restarting the computer would give you a new IP address, thus fixing the problem? Not sure if I'm right on this. Maybe some guys who know more about computers can give their opinions. I just find it ironic that I have dealt with the exact same thing.
