    Your most played album?

Just listened to Appetite For Destruction again and every song takes me back to 1987/8 whenever it came out.
Must have worn the tape out after 100's of plays.

What albums did you smash the shit out at the time and do you still listen to them?

For me, one of the best albums ever made.

I have over 400 vinyl albums. Don't really play them anymore (too easy to just play them on my iPod). The one with the grooves most worn is Led Zeppelin II. Best metal album of all time.

I went through at least three tapes before I finally got the cd.

2 from high school. Pantera's Far Beyond Driven and the ratm debut album.

I don't regularly listen to either album anymore, but I still love and know them like the back of my hand. The ratm album is the first album I ever tried to learn all the way through on guitar, and Far Beyond Driven is still my favorite heavy rock/metal sound ever. In my opinion, Dimebag's best album.

I always claimed I popped my cherry to this album, looking back I wouldn't have had time to press play before it was all over.

Just listened to The Spagetti Incident, still a great album too.

I will never understand how Led Zeppelin gets lumped into the metal category. They are blues rock IMO. Granted, there are some heavy guitar riffs, but the majority of their songs are blues based, and a lot of their songs are covers of blues pieces.

Over the years my most played album is probably Pink Floyd- Animals.

I can never get enough of Dogs.

I have over 30K cd's and plenty of External HD's full of MP3 bootlegs and entire albums. These two got the most play by far.

I've considered myself a fan of the Kinks from an early age but when they were putting out the stuff I responded to, i.e. Permanent Waves, I didn't realize their extensive history and influence overall.

For instance, I've not heard of the album you rate as number one. I may have heard some of the songs idk.
I'll look forward to listening to this album.

Also, your number three is right in my wheelhouse.

How is it I hate you about half the time?
