Salt, although technically not a spice, is a substance and is used to add flavor to food. You'll notice salt is not in the bracket but I was sure someone might mention it.
Similarly spices; you may be pointing at Curries. Well I'm not sure of their official status but like many sauces, Curries, and the like, are a combination of spices and non spices, or carriers if you will.
OK I've seen people put peanut butter on hamburgers, but that's damn sick if you ask me.
I've also seen people spit chewing tobacco in beer and drink it. Does this make chewing tobacco a condiment?
Traditionally, peanut butter is a sandwich spread, and not used because people want their bread to taste like peanut butter.
Likely, there are some peanut butter enthusiasts out there that put it into everything they eat and have misled you into thinking their limited fanatical life styles are commonplace.

peanut butter is not a condiment it needs coconut milk and a bevy of spices to even make it to a sauce that is useful in thai food looool at this clown poll
