she passed away on the way to the vet this morning
she will be sorely missed

My dad lost his dog a week ago, he's already got a new one. Don't know if I could get back into it that soon, but omg that puppy is adorable. Winnie will be sorely missed.

Sorry Marty, that really sucks. Like Carlin always said, "pet's are a tragedy waiting to happen". It's brutal they live such short lives. You provided her with a great one though.

Really sorry to hear Tyde.. Don't care what anybody says, it's like losing a close family member.
So sorry to hear that Tyde. I look at my dog every day and can't imagine how I will deal when he goes.
I know no other dog will be the same, but I would look for another I think it will help.

I think I remember you saying that you rescued her as a stray so kudos for giving her a good life.
Taking my first dog to the vet to be euthanized is probably the hardest thing I have ever had to do.
Took me about six months to ever consider wanting another dog but eventually did and she's great.
Dogs > humans AINEC
