The much-maligned betco.in has overtaken swcpoker, and it's not even close.

Pokerscout estimates:

Betcoin: 45 cash players average
Swcpoker: 18 cash players average

Keep in mind that when Seals was up, there was basically no contest. While other BTC poker sites existed (including Betcoin), they were considered non-factors and barely had any traffic.

It seems that now people are choosing Betcoin over Seals. This is the first time in more than 3 years that a site besides Seals/swcpoker led bitcoin poker traffic.

Basically betcoin is winning in the same way that John McCain won the 2008 Republican primary -- by default.

To be fair Betcoin has a sports book, casino, poker rakeback, and you can play the same MTTs/SNGS on it that you can play on the Winning Poker Network as well as some MTTs for that site only.

Betcoin has it's own cash player pool though which isn't hooked up to the rest of WPN if I'm not mistaken.

Their is no reason to play on SWC Poker unless someone is just a fan of Micon feeling sorry for him.

I am hearing rumors that the Gofundme suspension was at the hands of the state of Nevada.

If true, it would explain why Gofundme is refusing to tell Micon anything regarding the reason they aren't accepting any more donations on his behalf.

Unless there's something I'm missing, you're just seeing the page itself.

If you try to donate, you will get an error message. Even Micon himself acknowledged on Twitter that gofundme will not allow people to donate to him anymore, and they won't provide a reason to him.

Interestingly, his "update" stating this on the gofundme page itself (Update #3) has been removed, likely because he gave a bitcoin address for alternate donations, which is a violation of the gofundme TOS.

While the information I was given has not been verified, I was told that the gofundme was basically frozen by request of the state of Nevada. Supposedly officials told gofundme to preserve the page in its existing state, but not to allow new funding, and not to provide any information to Micon regarding the reason for its closure.

The "simple problem to be fixed" message is just the only version of that sort of suspension they had in place, so that's what they used.

I have no idea if this info is correct, but that's what someone told me. Maybe we'll find out soon what's going on.

So NL hold-me in California is kind of jacked. Pechanga has a 1/2 NL and a 1/3 NL game. Jermaine is a reg at the 1/2 game. The min max of that game is $40. Nothing more nothing less. The 1/3 is a 50-200 buy in.

Pechanga is actually a customer of mine. I have a monthly meeting with them, usually early in the morning, catered breakfast, the whole 9 yards type of deal. The meeting ends at 10 am. What I normally do is play cards and squeeze in work. What I do is play in the daily and when I bust I jump in the 1/3 game or 5/5 in the off chance that it goes off at that time (which rarely does)
