anyone else feel odd about having this boxing match on NBC? Feels so 1985.

The production just looked cheap to me compared to events on HBO, Showtime. and PPV along with more weaker commentators such as Marv Albert who belongs calling NBA games.

No real surprises in the fight results but I fell asleep right before the main on NBC.

Keith Thurman is too young and too quick.

No way he will ever fight Floyd Mayweather.

Mayweather would box Thurman's ears off.

Fights went exactly how they were supposed to go. Both big favorites won pretty easily.

I hate Broner. I fucking hate him. He still acts like a complete ass even after being undressed by Maidana. No shit you looked good against Molina. Molina has heart out of this world but he just isn't very good.

Tough one (depending on the weight). Probably Duran. But the only fighter that I pick over Mayweather every time, without hesitation, is Sugar Ray Leonard.

He'd better. He was a middleweight.

Looking forward to pascal vs kovalev. Does pascal have much of a chance, or does kovalev just hit too damn hard?

It's not a popular opinion, but I think Pascal can cause him some problems. He's got a pretty awkward style to deal with. And Pascal has decent physical strength and I believe, enough pop in his punches to earn him some respect. On the flip side, he has poor stamina and probably won't throw enough to win a decision.

Andre Berto and Josesito Lopez coming up, too. There's no way that's not an exciting fight. This is exactly the type of fight that Berto could lose.

Pacquiao on first take this morning. He was actually pretty funny.

Press conference for the fight is today at 4:30 est, I believe. This will be the only press conference until the one they do the week of the fight.

I don't know if you use them or not, but 5dimes has +525.

I think Pascal can keep it competitive. I don't think he'll win. I could see betting it light.

Bernard Hopkins thinks that Pascal is gonna win, though. So there's that, lol.

I do like Josesito Lopez over Andre Berto tonight. +185 or so odds on that one.

Saw the last 2 fights tonight. Pretty good action, especially the heavyweight fight. Sorry about your boy Lopez. Who knows if he could have composed himself if ref gave him a chance to continue. Looks like the fight was starting to swing towards Berto even before the knockdowns though.

Steven A Smith makes that practically unwatchable.

Yeah, it was pretty much gonna come down to him being able to take Berto's punches. I don't think he'd have made it much longer anyway.

I was banking on Berto being completely washed up. He's still got a little bit left in the tank.
