Ok here's some good vs. evil content. I was always under the impression that Syria was simply a country of anti western civilization scumbags. Not so apparently. Control is everything in most countries regardless of voting options.
The Assad dictatorship has been around for a long time and it treats at least half of it's population as evil counter intelllegence agents. So at least half and perhaps the majority of Syrians has lived under it's government's totalitarianism regime, no doubt funded and supported by the Ruskies for most of their lives.
Enter the scene, ISIS, who has probably recruited fighters from afar simply under the veil of an anti American conquest.
So, real people who want nothing to do with war are forced to take arms in defense of their own families and often
in rebellion for family members killed for no reason on two fronts.
These civilians/rebels have been disjointed but now realize their only hope is to band together in a last ditch effort to
return their country to the people.
