just got back from San Diego a little while ago
picked up the 89 Jeep Wrangler I had my eye on (Sahara edition) for $4200.00
it drives so sweet
they did stop us at secondary at the border and did a sweep for drugs
we accidentally went through the express lanes and the border guard was pissed. He said that they were logging my buddies vehicle , and if he did it again it was a $5000.00 fine and they could potentially seize his truck.
anyway, Jeep runs great...I'm pretty psyched

looks great dude. $4200 seems like a great price, looks like brand new.That's a 6 right? if so you will get another 60-100k considering it was probably well taken care of over the years.

Here's my tip to make a used car feel new.
Clean all the glass and mirrors til you can't see even one tiny micro smudge or hard water spot, that's it.
Roll down the windows to get that inch the tucks under the metal, then roll em up and make em spotless, adds $500 to a grand in value imo.

I'm going to guess getting a 15 year old range Rover fixed in Mexico is torture
nah the electrical is all jacked up and it won't start
the engine is good, but the motherboards and the keyfob remote are fried
even in good condition, the 2000 Range Rover only books 2200 or so on KBB
I just want to dump it so I can head south
