They say the odds are 10,000,000 to 3 to participate in the million, but my guess is they rigged it for advertising.
3 went off in a week.

I am back in at beginning of year. Once it made a move to fill that gap it got easier to stomach. It's behaving nicely.
AYA Full Tilt has a similar lottery for poker. The numbers are very good.
I wasn't kidding about Tyde calling investor relations and taking his money in stock. Obviously, to then sell through his own broker. He would be the first in the history of online poker to get money offsite like this. It would cement his legend.
It's literally the million dollar question - is Stars rigged on at least some scale?
Always believed it was in them millionth hand promos..
They'd never ever fall on the low/mid stakes split 08 games because the payouts would be huge and eat into the promo budget to fast... especially in the limit split pot games.... That was my theory anyway.
That said, I registered for the daily heads-up freeroll the other day.. it has a $10k prize pool, but also 30k runners... Sometimes I'll cash for $1 or w/e.. But this time it took me all the way through the field and i won it for $1k... wasn't even logged in.
Had like 30c equity and it ships me a grand..
Had to win 14 HU flips on the bounce...

As for rigging up when the one million spins take off sure it's possible to do and since it deals with online people will lean towards that theory a lot instead of thinking it's 100% random.
A point I want to make is I've seen at live casinos the bad bead jackpot get up to $350k+ a few times from nobody hitting it (quad deuces over quads minimum with both hole cards needing to be used) then all the sudden it gets hit and a day later same casino it gets hit again after it took several months for it to get hit the first time.
The odds are way worse to hit the one million spin and go but just saying it's not surprising to me that a few were won in a short period of time especially over what really is a small sample size given the odds to hit.
The odds of you doing it in one attempt is 10 million to 3. The probability of it happening to somebody, somewhere, over millions of trials is far higher.
I don't know how many spin and gos run every day, but this report says they fired 7.3 million within the first 10 days of launch. 787 people hit jackpots in that time. Those jackpots were about 30 times more likely to hit than this million dollar promo, but that's still quite a lot.
You know what would be more suspicious than 3 jackpots in a week? Jackpots always being evenly distributed over time, without any variance. Like a flipped coin that rarely goes on streaks of 8 or more tails, but instead alternates frequently, which is how most humans perceive randomness for some reason.
Unusual things happen. Given enough time and trials, it would be extremely unusual if nothing unusual ever happened.
