That was almost me in August.

Had a 12pm ferry from Vancouver to Victoria, and I was so paranoid I would miss it and it would fuck up my plans.

Then I got a late start out of the hotel (in Richmond), and I pretty much sped like 20 mph faster than the next fastest car, and got there. Then the line I was in wasn't moving, so I got out of my car, ran up to the entrance booth, and asked if they were allowing everyone in line by now onto the ferry.

She said not to worry, they are running behind and I actually had about 20 more minutes cushion.

I knew it was B.C. Ferries before I opened the thread.

If you live on the Island there's a good chance you've put the pedal to the metal to make a ferry and end up being the first or second car not to get on the last sailing of he night.

This sort of thing is why I carry a half dozen rotten eggs in the trunk
