what kinda setup do you use?

I have 2 1200's (a orginal silver and a black) mk2's a vestax pmc06 slim, and I use serato.

mainly dj funk and soul and hiphop.

but im a turntablist. so im way into that scene.

will be listening to this in a few.

I'm not into the whole EDm thing, I think it all sounds the same, and is VERY easy to mix. it's all playing at 120+bpm

To answer Larry, I can do very basic scratching, but I very rarely mess with hip hop, breaks (disco/funk etc, not the newer genre) etc cept at home for fun, cuz I do love the classics. (I have most of the comps, UBBs etc). I went digital, used to be pure vinyl. Had been away from scene for 6-7 years til like last year. I only got a 4 deck controller at home now, but play out on CDJs as you suspected. I play mostly house and techno, with the odd DnB mix uploaded for fun. EDM is cancer. i try to keep my sound from venturing that route. i prefer deeper groovier shit, the more tribally sounding, the better.

ahhhh. I see. yeah i figured you were on CDJs. most are these days. As long as you're not microwaving it on your laptop, I will respect it (i rarely respect CDJs).

Yes they're dusty. Bc i don't keep the dust covers on and didn't care when i took the pic. they don't always look like that. I'm about to buy a coffin case actually.

and that battle mixer is awesome, but I am about to mod it because vestax left out the cue switch but left the circuit board in there. that's my only complaint, otherwise it's exactly the same as the PMC05 (or as i like to call it, GoldenBoy).

i reeaaaaaaallllllllyyyyyyy want a RANE. and since i have a serato box i could get an older TTM that doesn't have the SL hookup on it.
