I am breaking some Vegas news here on PFA.........

CET properties have increased their resort fees AGAIN, just recently they announced a flat structure where all their Vegas properties are 25.00 a night.

That's no more, Bally's, Paris, Planet Hollywood have gone up to 29.00 a night, and Caesars itself is 32.00.

Oh, and those prices do not include tax. So after tax it's about 33.00 and 37.00, per night. Fuck you CET.

Geez.... this shit is getting out of control. Time for some regulations, similar as with the airlines. No wonder this company is going under... $29 for Bally's LOL.

Oh and they probably are putting all the blame on Expedia, Priceline and all the other travel sites again. Well guess what, there are only a few spots on the first page so if everyone is doing the resort fee trick, the end result is like how it was before the resort fee era.

And actually, what they're doing is fucking the Expedia type sites, because they don't get a cut of resort fees...

I just found out about this yesterday, when helping a friend (Platinum tier level) book a room at Caesars.

Pretty obnoxious, but it's not entirely CET's fault.

This is a vicious cycle where properties keep lowering base prices and raising resort fees in order to trick people on sites like Expedia into seeing them listed as "cheapest".

CET tried no resort fees, and got clobbered by comparable properties which had resort fees, because those properties were listed first.

I agree that mandatory resort fees should be made illegal, as they exist simply to trick the consumer. The base price should be the only mandatory price one has to pay, aside from government taxes.

Diamond and Seven Stars members don't have to pay this resort fee.

Don't understand this part, CET has nowhere near the least expensive rooms on the strip.
