Best TV Comedy since Seinfeld

Just finished up on the last season of Arrested Development, a Netflix original now, as well

as the Netflix original season (8?) of the Trailer Park Boys and was way impressed that

both of these reborn series may have had their best seasons ever.

The writing on Arrested is as good as it gets and every actor

is either good or great.



Every series "gets old" but both were vintage

comebacks.

What can you say about THE TPB's.

as it can get.

I'm Canadian and Trailer park boys is maybe top 20. I find it pretty mediocre myself. I love arrested development although was disappointed with season 4. I'd probably put it in my top 2-3. IMO Curb your enthusiasm probably the best since, regardless of the Seinfeld tie in. I don't watch much TV anymore so probably not qualified to comment. People tell me 30 rock is the best though.

Archer is right up there for sure. Although I hope they can keep the quality high.

I hated that Eastbound ended, but at the same time it was top notch all the way.

Sure as hell wasn't 2 1/2 Men. Don't know what people saw in that show.

I saw about 15 shows of this crap. There was one decent joke the whole time.

Always liked Charlie Sheen but he was wasted here. The other guy, jeez. His kindergarten class should have beaten this wimpy bitch to death when he was 5 years old.

The kid reminds me of a shit head punk that was a couple years ahead of me in school and used to pick on me. Popped him in the eye with a wrist rocket one day, fucked him up good. Almost lost his eye. He never fucked with anybody after that. Best part was I got away with it. Revenge was sweet that day.

Has anyone seen Modern Family? Is it good? It's never been on Netflix, so I haven't seen more than a clip of it. I've seen a few Big Bang Theory eps and didn't think it was very good.

I think 30 Rock, Parks and Rec and Community are the highlights of the 3 networks over the last decade.

HBO had Silicon Valley, Hello Ladies, Bored to Death, Eastbound and Down, Extras, Ali G, Flight of the Conchords, Curb, Mr Show.... all funny, some all time greats, the rest all well worth watching.

Showtime with slimmer pickings, but Californication had some laughs in its first couple of seasons. I thought Nurse Jackie was decent. Weeds had a few good seasons.

Orange is the New Black on Netflix is also good.

FX with Legit and You're the Worst, both funny.

Trailer Park Boys is on the list, but I think almost everyone could pick ten they like better out of this list and ones I've forgotten or not seen.

Yeah, I didn't include South Park, Archer, late period Simpsons because it's really in a different category.


I liked the British Office a lot. The American Office was spotty, at best. Also, lots of people like Always Sunny in Philadelphia, but I think it's just ok.

Why not throw every show you've heard of into your list because some you haven't seen, others aren't comedies...........FFS
