Okay, so I live in a town where there is just no mall, no stores for clothes shopping so i did a lot of my shopping on Macys website.


So yesterday I got a buttload of my shit in. For some reason when you order from them they break up your order. So say you order 4 items, they're usually coming in 2-3 different deliveries.

So, anyway as I Christmas shopped, as always I do a little shopping for myself as well. Well, I got all of my clothes for myself in the mail yesterday as I said, and I come home from my deli for an hour today and to my surprise at my front door is an entire pile of orders. All of them duplicates of what I had already received and bought. I went over my bill 1000 times and they definitely only charged me for one, and all the orders are all quantity 1.


What do you do here? My options are:

1.Say nothing and keep doubles of all the stuff(including a sweet g-shock watch, two tommy hilfiger sweaters, a few tommy button downs, two pairs of jeans, and of course Broncos jammy set for my girl)

2. Call them and tell them the situation. Maybe they will reward me for being a good honest lad(lol)

3. Send in for returns of all the items and get refunded, but keep all of the first wave of shit I got.

I can't really think of any other options.

I would say that #3 is risky; they may double check, realize the mistake etc.

I personally would justify keeping it if I gave it away as gifts to people but returning it for $ seems shady to me. Sending shit back in the mail is a pain in the ass.

Shit like this should never be black & white .....Because if you're anything like me and live by your own rules of conduct. Then you keep the swag if it came from a large chain. (for many different reasons)

I think there is a law that if you receive something in the mail you didn't order, it is yours. Don't know if that would apply here or not. Bur you are an honest guy.
