    Weird error on Coinbase site

Not exactly confidence-instilling to read a message like this:

    Error 1001 Ray ID: 193da139d08d0d37

    DNS resolution error

    What happened?

You've requested a page on a website (www.coinbase.com) that is on the CloudFlare network. CloudFlare is currently unable to resolve your requested domain (www.coinbase.com). There are two potential causes of this:

Most likely: if the owner just signed up for CloudFlare it can take a few minutes for the website's information to be distributed to our global network.

Less likely: something is wrong with this site's configuration. Usually this happens when accounts have been signed up with a partner organization (e.g., a hosting provider) and the provider's DNS fails.

It's back. But it kinda bothers me that they are part of some stupid Cloud service and not even running their own servers.

Cloudflare is a CDN, they don't actually host anything. I use Cloudfare for several websites, but host everything with separate providers.

One reason to use a CDN is to try to stifle DDOS attacks, which I understand is a common issue for bitcoin services.

Luckily PFA doesn't need Cloudflare. It's a good thing Druff doesn't know what it is
