if i live i will be going to foxwoods for thier 20-40 stud and holdem games on jan 15 after i get go to doctors.iam going thier to break my sessions won of 38 in a row live.i will be thier for a total of 10 months with comeing home for doctors will take up about 2 months. the expence is a killer on the road. i figure 1400 aweek to break even.not counting time that you pay win or lose. i need to get that down to about 700 per week. then find a place up thier to live.thier stud game runs daily 2 to 3 tables iam sure they got some great regs thier. you can come down and we can play soome holdem together.. iam to old for this shit anymore but iam going anyway.

its about over on the east coast for a limit player. its all no limit. pa nj no good for limit just bogata and thats it. foxwoods is number one for limit play. the deal i got is very good i get paid 1k aweek plus expence backer gets anything left. my deal is good for 3 months then i can renew. so i got to win around 3k per week. stud is a slow game and this could be very hard to do.thiers alot of young good players out thier today.i will be playing 70 hours per week but right now i dont know if my body will let me play 10 hours aweek. but they have a 75-150 game on the weekends so i might be ok. see you at foxwoods

tyde it gives him a chance to play the pefect player before he dies. the first one i got to see was johney moss. the man played grave yard dead at the table. looked like he was bored to death the whole game.the only other one i have seen since is druff tho not live.in no limit you cant string together many in a row session wins as daly found out and he was a good player. remember i will only be delt 300 hands total in a 10 hour day playing stud or 2100 hands in a week. i need to win 14k per month to reach the true number.wont be easy tyde

Went back to Foxwoods in August for the first time since I moved to Florida (3 years). I can't believe what a depressing shithole that place has become and this was on a Friday night.
Best of luck, I couldt stand being there for more then one night.

I have more respect for poker pros then you can imagine. I spent more hours last summer and fall... Seemed like 40 hours a week plus family time and the half ass work from home job I had. I think 8K was my high after 3 months. By the time I took the promotion and couldn't play more then 8 hours anymore I was happy to take what I had in my roll to the mall for Christmas and getting rolled by Mickey mouse.

I spent (lived) 6 months there in 2007 or so. The glory years. Posted about this before. You could get a room with your players card points 5 or 6 nights a week. Players card for buffet & restaurants.

They were sloppy about logging players in and out of the poker room. You could have your card racking up points 23 hours a day.

Live & eat for free and grind. 90 tables full with a waiting list at night. The action was epic. But this was 2007.

Vanessa Selbst and other grinders playing $25/50 NL or more every night. Just watching was fun.

Foxwoods drilled themselves a huge financial black hole. No rooms. Shit for comps. Laid people off. Show's over.

Foxwoods is in the middle of nowhere & rent ain't cheap in Northeast. Food ain't cheap on site. Wanna drive 10 miles for a sandwich in the snow?

Daly is right. Foxwoods is a shithole now. Mohegan is more fun but smaller & you won't find your games there.

last time i was thier was 93. rooms were pretty cheap back then. i waited 7 hours for a seat back then. it looks like a nice place now. alantic city opened so i never went back. i need 20-40 to even have a chance of my gold. then i must mix in some 75-150 to make it. against those players 65k would be easy to do for me and have some time off.we will see
