This pretty much sums it up. The problem is members of the media, activists, morons, etc. jump out on a story, and rather than admit that they were mistaken, just double down on stupid.
Even the night it broke, you could almost sense a decent percentage of the crowd realized they picked the wrong martyr, but to not riot would be to admit that they've spent a 100 days protesting and spamming facebook for some clown ass n-word, and they weren't about to admit they wasted months on nonsense.
Even skimming message boards, posters I generally find reasonable can't walk back all their rhetoric and just admit they erred. That's America anymore in a nutshell. No one ever concedes a point even when it's shown to be a wrong position.

The facts in this case seem to change almost every day.
The Brown family now have other experts, a pathologist and forensic examiners that claim Mike Brown was shot 8 times and the wounds are consistent with a person having their hands up.
Was Mike Brown trying to surrender? But the cop shot and killed him anyway?
The criminal case is over, Officer Wilson will not be charged.
But there will be a big civil case filed against the police.
The Brown family will file a wrongful death lawsuit against the police and most likely they will settle it out of court.
They will probably get about $2 million + and the police don't have to admit wrongdoing.
If only Mike Brown had walked on the sidewalk instead of the middle of the street.
First pic and caption is gold... never understood why they wore their pants like that... seems hard to run from cops.
Dumb bitch who works for NY Times publishes Officer Wilson's home address.
Website gives her taste of her own medicine and publishes her home address.
Dumb bitch cries foul and calls police constantly when LOL harassment ensues:

Times scoop on Darren Wilson marriage backfires
http://nypost.com/2014/11/25/times-s...age-backfires/
Wrong address on marriage license, turns out former Officer Darren Wilson didn't live there.“An earlier version of this post included a photograph that contained information that should not have been made public,” the Editor’s Note reads. “The image has been removed.”
A Times spokeswoman said, “When it was pointed out that the license contained a street address, we thought the right thing to do was to remove it.”
The address on the license, however, does not belong to the couple.
The address appears to be of the county building where the judge who performed the ceremony works.
Wilson got about $400K in donations and he hasn't been to his home in Crestwood, MO in months.
He has been in hiding, changing his appearance and staying away from anyone who looks black.
In the nytimes.com article they give out the name of the street that they live on.
Here's the nytimes.com article with the license image removed...
A Quiet Wedding for Darren Wilson

Home ownership records are public records, very easy to lookup.Officer Wilson and Officer Spradling own a home together on Manda Lane in Crestwood, Mo., a St. Louis suburb about a half-hour drive from Ferguson.
Has anybody died in these "riots" yet? Just curious.
