Great Documentart Show on HBO - SONIC HIGHWAYS - FOR DRUFF

This fucking show is great even if you are not a fan of Dave Grohl or his band. They just had a excellent episode of Nashville and how country was created there and the machine it has become for the new artists. Even though I hate fucking country thought it was an awesome episode.

The first episode in Chicago was incredible. Brought back tons of memories. Plus, I just got to see Cheap Trick and Naked Raygun at Riotfest (with a PFA member in attendance from Maryland, but he lurks for the most part).

i never knew this was a series

watched a few minutes of an episode thinking it was just a one-off documentary and just wasn't really into it at the time but thought the nashville episode was pretty strong

like dave grohl i'd never heard of the zac brown band before but this is pretty decent for country

also nashville is one of my favorite cities i've ever been too

thought i'd have a shitty time cause i don't listen to country but it's so much more than that, just a chill fucking place and damn near every bar has decent live music

    totally underrated imo

Zac Brown sat in last year with String Cheese Incident and Furthur (Grateful Dead members) last year at a festival I was at. (LOCKN)

Never saw him before, but those boys can play. Was really impressed. Not sure if I would call Zac Brown "Country". He definitely enjoys doing some hard rock covers.

The DC episode is fantastic. Ian MacKaye is just the coolest dude. And the old Bad Brains film is awesome. I wish I could have been at thier early shows where there was no stage and the crowd was mixed in with the band.
