Week 9 flame away. I will bold my picks
SD @ MIA- SD +1(EVEN) O/U 45- O 45
Obviously like most people here I love SD in this spot. They seem to win these games more often than not. They are basically playing at the highest level they have in years, even though they have lost a few close games. Donald Brown will take away 8-15 touches from Oliver which could actually slow them down, but I see this being a 29-21 type of game where MIA has a chance to come back one last drive and doesn't or SD needs that last drive to get that score. I think SD would blow them out at home without question. You would see a huge spread of 6-8 if they were home. That being said they had to travel, but I don't see Rivers not producing in beautiful MIA
JAX @ CIN- JAX +11 O/U 43- U43
I just don't like where CIN is headed health wise and production wise. I see this being a FG fest with Jax getting one of those long TDs to just keep it within a score. I see CIN pulling it out 24-14. Being a really slow methodical game. If JAX doesn't cover this spread I think it means they got shutout of the endzone all day.
TB @ CLE- CLE-7(-105) O/U 43.5- U43.5
I see this almost like a mirror of the game above, but less talented teams. I see CLE methodically pounding the ball with Crowell, West, and Tate all day long. Coming out in the 4th quarter with a comfy 24-10 victory. I don't see TB improving at all this season as long as they keep feeding Martin. Only way they cover is if Sims comes back and has a decent week and scores a TD on the ground. But 24-10-24-14 type score.
WAS @ MIN- WAS +1 O/U 43.5- O43.5
RG3 returns, but honestly it's like being in foster care being a QB for WAS. They haven't been able to stick with one QB and get the chemistry needed. Luckily they actually have some decent athletes who can score and get YAC. Regardless if RG3 finishes this game or Colt McCoy I just don't see Bridgewater beating them. I do however see him having his best NFL game yet. 3 TDs and 1-2 picks with one being crucial. I see this being kind of a shoot out once it get's going. Unless McKinnon can just run run run. Asiata is no longer a factor. I see WAS winning this 35-27
PHI @ HOU- PHI -2 O/U 49- O 49
Normally, you would get the homer alert, but I actually see Houston winning this game in one of the highest scoring of the year. I think something is wrong with Shady and Watt will shut him down anyway. I don't see the Foles I saw last year. Already more than tripled his INT's from all of last year. He has so many options with Chip Kelly's offense, so they will score during this game, but they will get run all over by Foster as long as he's healthy, and that will open up Fitzparicks best day of the year for him. 4TDs coming. HOU 45-38. Huge day for whatever scrub Houston has as a TE. don't even know his name I just know PHI Lb's can't cover me, let alone a real athlete.
NYJ @ KC- KC-10 O/U 42- U42
Two teams who just pound pound pound. Jet's have one of the worst secondaries in the game though. Wouldn't be surprised if we see Geno when Vick get's hurt. He always does. It'll just be another Jet's mess with a little more HArvin involved. He might even run 3-5 times. KC D is pretty stout. Wouldn't be surprised to see a 24-3-6 type win. KC could potentially also just smash the Over on their own.
ARI @ DAL- ARI +3 O/U 44.5- O44.5
Shootout alert. This is when DAL D get's exposed. I know everyone is saying Palmer Palmer Palmer, this is the week it becomes true(again, he did it last week too). Murray will get his 100 yards, but I don't even know if Romo will finish the game. I see ARI winning 30-27 or the likes. It's gonna be a one possession game most of the time unless someone keeps turning it over. Travel not an issue from ARI and they just find ways to win these games. Alla SEA last year @ SEA
I will do the late games in a little
