Not watching but I have a suspicion that the unusually dry humidity in Boston and the humidor is set for typical high dew point Boston night. It’s like Coors humidity in the little bandbox

Record drought in New England. 4th driest summer ever perhaps.

Your welcome for saying not jays.

I agree they are bad right now but Yankees are worse and with Springer in the lineup things just work

There is a battle currently. It pops back and forth between -127 and -132 as I post. Whatever.

BOL is offering an Odds Booster. I ignore them as policy but let’s make an exception.

Odds Booster - Orioles & Guardians both to Win - Was +241 NOW +290

Now the parlay is really +260 not +241. I’m not gonna get into the whole bet booster shenanigans rampant out there. I’m still getting +30 of value.

Red Sox @ Orioles is a flippy game. I think Sawks Kutter Crawford is worse than he appears. No prize on the road either. Red Sox could not have been beat more completely by any team as they were by the Pirates 2 days ago.

I want to parlay the banned Padres (Nationals +300) and banned Jays (Yankees +100) for ~ +645. Kicking it on a remote island sipping drinks with umbrellas kind of fantasy.
I laid off this one out of respect for your wager. I felt my participation would have single-handedly doomed it as I could quote 4 Tristan losses in this thread. Just been on the wrong side of him all year. He pitches well and they score 0 if I’m on him.

Look, I told you I bet Gausman over strikeouts. Springer was announced out and any temptation I had to commit sin was extinguished then and there. We both made money on the Jays and that’s really all that matters cause it won’t happen too often. Least profitable team in baseball.

Padres are coming for you though. Three straight days Padres -300 or greater. Two losses and one to go. People are retards.

I banned the least profitable team in baseball long before it was fashionable. Mustaches? Yup, me too.

Cleveland has been a consistent money maker and I am grateful. I actually like the Guardians more as a playoff team than a regular season team. That was a playoff-type win last night. Tristan with 14K’s followed by Clase. Lights out.

The parlay was as stress free as any +290 parlay could be.

I’m ahead of the Red Sox lineup but I’m doing it.

Boston Red Sox -130 for 1st 5 Innings

Sawks Wacha vs O’s Bradish. Complete mismatch. Wacha looked electric after return from injury. 7-1. Bradish is not good, 6.38 ERA is just the start of it.

There is a bullpen mismatch too favoring the O’s. They are favored and likely win but let’s take advantage of the O’s correlated F5.

I’m a little heavier than usual unit but I’m running good.

Dustin May is back for dodgers. He looked tremendous in AAA. Huge strikeouts. He won’t last long if Dave Roberts is smart. He’s not. F5 or full in some parlay or whatever. I’m working on it myself

Forgot to mention Cleveland. Just a formality cause I know you’re on them. The ML is a bargain even at -179. Perhaps a pairing with Dustin May Dodgers.

What have I started? Ideas also on the short list. Did I miss a favorite? I’ll double check

    Cardinals -146
Cardinals Team total Over 4.5 -125
    Mariners/A's Over 7.5 -105

To say I really need Scottie tomorrow would be some understatement. Scraping the paint here 125-1 down to 4-1. Would of been better odds if he could buy a putt on the back today. He wins or loses….either way it’s all over baby. Was debating selling some Scottie at 5.5 to 1 to lock up a nickel or so. But fuck it…I’ll let it bleed.

Yes, the twins are there because you need to bet 3 legs to get the odds boost. Yes, they won 4-0 and Nelly did walk up 18 with a 4 stroke lead, but only after the biggest choke job you will ever see by her sister. Jessica was -17 after 2 holes final round and Nelly was -7. So I’m very fortunate to even get to this point.

One time Scottie. I’m using my one time.

Just one pick today, after back to back 1-1 days

Oakland (Kaprielian) +170 vs. Seattle (L. Gilbert)

Gilbert has given up 16 ER in less than 16 innings in August.

Dustin May is back. He was not rushed.

Fanned 10 in 5 innings, 8 in 5 prior. Great whip. Good command.

    Marlins can’t hit.

Marlins pull Garrett and bring in a minor leaguer for his big league debut against Betts Trea and Freeman. Kid is just a guy. Just a guy who is putting the finishing touches on a fastball. Oh, Lordy. Whip is 1.50 in minors

I know you have Bovada so you have access to Dodgers F5 TT o2.5

The Mariners Gilbert damage was Yankees before they quit playing baseball.

    Sawks F5 ✅

    We've got extras, folks.

Oakland wormed out of the placed runner at 2nd.

Now they just gotta get their guy at 2nd home and I've got my +170.

    Great call.

Gilbert didn't look great against Texas last time, either. Gave up 5 hits and walked 4.

This time he did a bit better against the punchless Oakland team, but still gave up 3 runs, and Kaprielian was his usual innings eater self.

This is a Sanlmar style pick.

Jake Odorizzi has not been good for the Braves since being acquired. Roansy Contreras is one of those highly regarded prospects whose actual performances have been hit (1 ER in 3 of 5 last starts) or miss (bombed for 7 runs three starts ago, though that was on July 1).

I think Contreras is going to pitch better than Odorizzi, but the Braves have a tough bullpen, and the Pirates' pen is shit, especially without closer David Bednar.

So I'll give up 27 or so points from the line to take first 5 instead.

Pirates (R. Contreras) +150 vs. Braves (Odorizzi) - FIRST 5 INNINGS

    It’s X week folks.

And the funny part is he’s close enough to the lead to start “only” 4 back so you can bet him for the championship too.

So admittedly I’m excited for college “week 0”. Unfortunately none of the games/numbers really excite me. It’s looking like a Chase the number sort of slate.

If you can find NM St +10 or FAU -7 go ahead and give them a stab. I guess I’m Having a hard time seeing UCONN contribute enough to get that game over 60 but I hate taking under game totals in college football.

Well... Roansy Contreras was pitching fairly well, 4 shutout innings. Pirates also weren't hitting. Both teams had a few opportunities to score and didn't.

5th inning, the youngsters burned me. Vaughn Grissom singled with 2 strikes, and then Michael Harris hit an opposite field HR, which may or may not have been turned from a double to a HR by a Pittsburgh fan. That 2-0 gonna be hard to overcome for this offense, especially in 1 inning.

Damn. That interfered double (turned into a HR) might be the difference. O'Neill Cruz hit a long HR in the 5th, so now it's 2-1.

What fan interfered double are you talking about? His HR was three rows deep. You really trying to claim a fan interference bad beat on this?:

From that view it doesn't look like a fan interference HR. When I saw it, it looked like that happened, and the outfielder even pointed up to the fan, so I thought that meant there was interference.

    Weird.
