Obviously happy with my MLB performance over the past 2 days, so let's keep it going.

Here are two picks, one starting soon, the other a bit later:

Cincinnati (Mahle) -1.5 +122 vs. Arizona (M. Kelly)
Kansas City (Junis) -101 vs. Tampa Bay (Wacha)

Yesterday my one loss was attempting to fade a has-been Rays pitcher -- though the loss was because the Royals pitching was horrendous. I was right about the Rays pitcher being bad. Anyway, hopefully we make up for it today against Wacha.

No doubt NickyPipes is going to fade my KC pick because he is in love with the Rays.

Okay, and now for some NBA...

Dallas vs. Detroit - Under 217 (Smith doubtful, Hardaway probable)
Miami -1.5 at San Antonio (Olapido out, Iguodala out)
Brooklyn at Toronto - Over 230.5 (Durant out, Harden out)
Atlanta at New York - Over 219 (Gallinari out, Hunter out)

Mahle (who I have on my fantasy team, and have been patient with for years) is excellent this year, which is why I picked Reds here. But Merrill Kelly has done way better than I expected, and it currently sits at 1-0 in the 5th, which could be bad news for my -1.5 bet.

Long way to go, but I'm always a bit leery of those -1.5 bets on the home team. I fired because I knew Mahle would dominate, and I didn't expect Kelly to pitch well.

And there's a mediocre first half to my first NBA bet -- Nets game has 114 points in the first half. Fortunately the game is close, so it's possible that last minute fouling could also help to carry the over across.

Could you stop betting on the Royals please?
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?

The Rays crushed and disgraced the Royals. The loss was because the Rays bats were on fire. Clutch hitting and also some clutch pitching out of jams. The Royals fielding has also been god awful this series, strangely bad!

No official play from Pipes today, but I am fading you in spirit. In fact I’m about to turn the game on now.

You called it correctly though, Tampa Bay Rays are my favorite sports team!

How about Druff and I both going 4-1 yesterday in baseball in a scenario where I was in agreement on 2 plays but faded 2. Made for a fun night. Mainly joking around about the Rays game, was a ton closer than final score indicates and was exciting to watch, so was the Marlins game.

I didn’t get a good chance to check the board today and was busy in the afternoon when a lot of games were played, seemed like a good day for “dogs” when I looked at lines early this morning didn’t check how things played out yet

Oh my! Missed a beauty of a chance to Stuff Druff! Rays looking hot again just turned it on up 3-0.

Druff I’ve noticed you fade Tampa a lot. Why? I get the Rich Hill fades but you got beef with the Rays?

    Amir Garrett sucks.

They need to get him out so the Reds can win by 2. I can't believe I'm worried about a -1.5 bet in a 3-0 game in the 9th, but here we are. 1st and 2nd, one out. They need to get Sims in there. Or anyone.

KC has come back from down 4-0, but still trail 5-3.

NBA not going all that well. Lost the Nets over, am almost sure to win the Atlanta over, and will likely lose the Dallas under. Miami looking like a toss-up.

Edit: Nope. 3-run HR by Van Meter, and it's a tie game. Bye bye -1.5 barring a 2-run HR in the bottom of the inning.

Why no Brewers today Druff? You’ve been riding them! I was going to bet them but thought the game was tonight 10pm my time, missed it. Padres were like -200 favorite this morning, jumped out to me as way too high! You snooze you lose my bad for not just making the play when I saw it.

I just didn't see them sweeping the Padres in SD, especially with Houser on the mound. They're down a bunch of guys, and pretty much rode two really good pitchers the past two days.

But yeah, Padres are in a legit slump.

I deserve the Royals to come back and win their game, after this 9th inning Reds fiasco with Garrett. Keep in mind he lost the other game which got suspended and continued today.

Why he's the closer is beyond me. The Reds have Lucas Sims and Sean Doolittle, both of whom have performed fairly well this year.

Well the Reds completely fell apart, but at least I have this going:

    https://twitter.com/rmblank4/status/1385060228941586434

And the Heat are now up by 16 on the Spurs.

If the Royals can hold on -- and that's a big IF -- I'll roughly break even today.

The Royals bullpen really blows. Of course the Rays have a runner on 3rd base in the 8th.

I do wish I took the Cubs, which I strongly considered but backed away from. They were a small dog. They're up 14-4.

    Doubting the Royals is foolish

They won, but once again the pitching was absolute shit. I'll take it though.

    Just one baseball pick today.

Taking the Cubs to sweep. Bit of a risky play with the inconsistent Williams, but Lucchesi isn't exactly going to challenge for the Cy Young this year, either.

    Cubs +103 vs. Mets (Lucchesi)

I’ll ride with Druff and take the Cubs I see they are 4-0 this year vs lefties and seem to be “getting it together”

EDIT: I’m late to the game so I’m in at -102

LOL. Both teams did what they had to do today. But this alternate shot tomorrow and Sunday will be a wild ride.

Going with $250 on Rozner live +2000 on the Spain Euro. Low scoring yesterday. He’ll have to shoot low. Late tee time, hoping the course plays tougher for the morning wave so this price is still good.
