    I'm tossing around Marlins +173.

Locke looked excellent in his rehab starts, and then looked great against Arizona (5 1/3 IP, 7 K, 1 ER, 3 H, 0 BB).

And we all know of Arrieta's struggles this year, which is kind of carryover from last year.

But it's still Jeff Locke, and it's still the Marlins on the road in Chicago, so......

    I don't know.

I already took the Marlins -- the line is too attractive. Game could go either way.

    These are starting fairly soon.

at Atlanta (J. Garcia) -103 vs. Philles (Nola): I really like this one. Nola had one good year in 2015, when he was a rookie. He's been terrible ever since the start of the 2016 season. Jaima Garcia has allowed 0 ER in his past 2 starts. It's also the Phillies on the road. 'Nuff said.

at Milwaukee (C. Anderson) -126 vs. Giants (Cain): The last time Matt Cain had a sub-1.500 WHIP was 2014. He's had some fairly good games, but much of this was due to luck, as he was constantly battling himself out of trouble. He is one of those pitchers who can be either decent or absolutely get hammered, but he's rarely dominant nowadays. I'll go against him for this price, especially with a fairly good Milwaukee team at home.
Atlanta wins. There, I said it.

    Money rushing in on Arrieta.

    Line now +183 on Miami

The ATL up 1-0, but you know how I've been doing in games with early leads...

Well I decided I'm not betting the Marlins.

Justin Bour, who has been the NL's hottest hitter for the past month (and leads in HR), is on the DL now.

Speaking of DL, the anti-Colon gravy train has been derailed. He's also on the DL: http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/1...-disabled-list

    Sad!

    Royals 09.5 +100

2 young pitchers with almost no starts. Houston might score 10 by themselves. Royals bats actually hot lately
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?

I rode gausman to some DFS money last year...love the guy, but fuck he is terrible this year...his K rate has gone from 23% last year to 14.8% this year...that's fucking amazing for a guy who gets it up there in the mid-90s with his fastball...looked at his fangraphs numbers and his velocity is on par with what he did last year...don't know where to find spin rates, but maybe his breaking shit aint breaking so well this year...

keep this in mind if there's a decent line against him in his next start...

I had a weird feeling about the Cards game today. Wainwright had looked so good lately, and it was against Cincinnati. Opened -111, closed at -136.

    Cincy winning 5-0.

I didn't like Cincy enough to bet it, but I just felt there was a trap with this one. I still don't trust Wainwright.

    I looked at that game.

Gausman is pretty bad this year. But Pittsburgh really can't hit, and I generally hate taking NL teams on the road in AL parks. The DH really screws the pitchers up, and the NL teams also often lack a competent DH candidate themselves. So I thought to myself that I could easily see Ivan Nova finally getting bombed (despite him being good lately), and Pittsburgh being shut down somehow by Gausman.

Mind you, it's 3-1 Pittsburgh in the 5th, but I just didn't like it at the +125 opening line, and especially not at the +108 close.

BTW I see the Marlins are off and running with a 1-0 lead.

    GL Tellafriend

You better hope Locke pitches well, though. The 6-7-8-9 spots of that Miami lineup are brutal today.

As bad as Miami has been, they're going to get worse without Bour, who has been a monster.

Don't know how I missed this.

I totally would have taken Boston against Tanaka, who is an auto-fade these days in most cases.

Carlos Torres is a fucking trainwreck.

Comes into the 9th with the Brewers up 5-0, and now the game is in jeopardy.

    5-2 with 2 on, 0 out

    Unbelievable.

Thank you Cory Knebel for putting an end to this BS with the Giants.

Now I need the Braves to pull off some magic. Adonis Garcia sucks. Last out.

    Edit:

    1-1 as expected

What a gem of a game. I was very wrong about McCarthy tonight

    2-1 Nats top of 7th

I should just hedge this thing and book a win.

    +265 Dodgers out there Live.

Nats vs Dodger bullpen is no contest. Not good for me

    Edit
Bottom 7 105 pitches .... Scherzer was growling on the mound- literally. What a warrior
