    Enjoy your night.
I got caught up in Paddack-mania too. He faced the Dodgers Kershaw a while ago and I got all liquored up that night ready to party.

Paddack got crushed by Dodgers. He later got beat up by other good offenses. It was sad to watch but I can’t touch him any more.

The Brave’s Jew Max Fried was also an ace in my eyes. He let me down too. Kids today, right?

Don’t YOU let me down badguy.

Druff took some shots while we were betting heavy favorites NHL 1P

The way he grew up -190 Dodgers was a sin. You will go broke the Rabbi said. It’s Old Testament.

Then Intel created the 4004 chip and the electronic calculator was available to the masses.

Well, favorites work atm generally cause baseball (like NBA & NFL) has no parity. NONE. Used to be less offensive.

I ask you - was RYU with his microscopic ERA, Whip & peripherals together with his offense not going to win 66% of the time against Arthur C Clarke’s 6.28 ERA & 1.535 Whip backed by The Diamondback offense?

Dodgers win at least 75% of the time.

-190 was stealing. I bought at the 2pm open the prior day. There is a lesson for the kids, spot the big favorite and buy early. It closed -217 @ tip-off. Still correct imo @ implied 68.45% Seriously.

Druff, I love you more than badguy. Badguy is strong and can fend for himself. He doesn’t need me like you do.

I’m just blowing off steam. The truth is I am growing bored betting baseball. It’s such a grind and takes a LOT of time.

It was interesting to figure out how it all pieces together. I am a bit compulsive though. I prolly need to find trouble somewhere else for a while.

God, I hope the NHL Blues win the Cup. Bruins Chara got his jaw broke. That future has more potential units than all my baseball units so far. I also have 8-1 Bruins. So there’s my wagering retirement plan, lol.

NHL and Simpdog. Never would have made the first NHL bet if not for him and this thread.

If it makes you feel better, the sharps agreed and backed Dodgers too.

Of course they were even heavier on the Cards, and look how that turned out.

These picks belong in the Chernobyl thread and for the last time St Louis was not a sharp pick last night. Throw my Puig pick in with this mess.

Bro this is why Bookies and Offshore will never die. No your role in the game and you should be able to get action everywhere. A fucking Pittsburgh Legal Sportsbook wont be one of them if you have a clue wtf u r doing and bet more then 250 a game. Just how it is and going to be but this started offshore long before this.

The days of a good Bookmaker whos not a pussy has died and was dead before shit got legal!! Ask Daly.

The Interwebs killed the Gambler and the Bookie.

One of the themes of the Ringer article was that the corporate books ban the sharps.

Makes ya wonder who exactly is Druff’s service watching at the close. All these high profile sharps? Lol.

Seriously though, the corporate books are forced to pay ridiculous tax rates and huge licensing fees in places like Pennsylvania.

There is a lot at stake and the narrowest of margins.

There doesn’t exist a single entrepreneur or strong leader who is willing to book risk in that environment. Why jeopardize a good paying gig if you are a corporate guy? Just create a fixed marketing budget and get more sheep to replace the winning players.

Beware regulation. These will be looked upon as the good old days.

If you are illegal or off shore presently that’s just naughty naughty. If later you are taking tax revenue from a licensed book that’s when enforcement becomes serious. Don’t fuck with taxes.

95% of my wagers are on Betfair and without doubt this is the best sports betting option.

I see Betfair odds listed on comparison sites and they often quote the wrong price or put up the imediately available price only. With betfair you can sit just behind the imediate odds and just wait a few minutes to get matched... of course this can also go opposite way sometimes so you need to use good judgement if you believe the market will move the other way.

I've been excluded from promotions and had my limits capped by many of the local bookmakers but never had a single issue with Betfair in like 10 years. Though I have heard that Betfair will limit punters in some countries to very small wagers only.

I reckon I pay half the vig I used to. And with small margins that makes a big difference.

Ohh yeah, the biggest customers to Betfair are bookmakers hedging their action at better prices or even'ing their book.

Betfair turns awful if you're a lifetime winner and/or high frequency bettor. They add in premium charges which can turn their site into a 20%+ rake!!!

I do miss the live markets (San would lose his mind if he saw how liquid they are) but I'm sure as shit not paying 25% rake on good weeks.

I've just looked through their full terms and conditions and there is no mention of Premium Charges.

Did a Google search in regard to this and everyone who mentions a premium charge is talking in Pounds £
If I click on any of the links they reference in their posts the link does not work for me.

It's the opposite here in Australia. If you have super high turnover you get a special discount above the normal exchange points discount.

This is a UK only thing I believe and would be an illegal practice in Australia.

Edit: did some research and a PC would be illegal here due to our contract laws.
The only higher charges in Australia is when Betfair has to pay certain government or governing body fees ie turnover tax and this equates to 1% or 2% on certain markets like NRL and horse racing in certain states. Also if you make over 1,000 transactions an hour you pay a transaction fee for the hours that exceeded this limit and that equates to 1% or 2% gross.
