These have been my horses for a while and I can’t jump off them now. Burns up big on. Lydia up a little. Horsfield stuck a lung. But this is a week where it is what it is. If we brick, it will be an expensive week. On a nicer upswing than it looks like because not counting the $6500 win from Herbert.
I kind of like both Kordas this weekend but am saving my 3+ hour drive to bet the CME Championship for next weekend. Still a huge Lydia K fan so GL this weekend for sure!

Hope all is well Joe. Always great to hear your insights. The odds are messed up and it’s a product of the public just looking at recent form. J Ko should be the favorite and I’ve definitely made money on her 3 of 4 wins (missed the playoffs win in Korea at short odds), but being +350 is absurd. This is a field of all the toughest players in the world. If she wins, she wins, but no way should she be this price.
Nelly is fantastic value at +900 or +1000. My odds would have been around J Ko +550 Nelly +800 and Lydia +850, if I was making them. Lydia is only playing this tournament because she needs the rounds to qualify for the Vare (Lowest Season Stroke Average). She originally was going to play both weeks in Saudi and then the CME. Her performance last week was some of the best putting I’ve seen from any golfer. She should be really motivated and hoping the travel from Saudi will be mitigated by a stress free win last week.
I gave some real thought to putting down money on Nelly but I didn’t for two reasons. First I got way too much action already and second is this course is a Par 70. Only having 2 par 5s should neutralize her power a bit as she won’t have those relatively easy birdies to count on. If this were even a par 71 you could almost spot her 4 more strokes. So Nelly will have to rely on the approach and putter more than usual.

This looks to be a week where it looked really promising for a bit but end up buried. Sam Burns has an 8-15 footer for birdie putt seems like every hole and just no shot at rolling one in. Titikul totally shit bed today out of nowhere. Parlayed her with Phil b/c of the short odds. Phil probably wins easy over the next few days. Too late to make any money on him.

LOL. I have S. Florida +23.5. Cincinnati has the ball up 10 with 1 minute left and S Florida has no timeouts, so 2 kneel downs and game over. Nope. They run their normal offense and sore a TD, and now I have to sweat a defensive TD. Unreal.
