Anyone have any good leads on the Derby?

I gave up betting horses years ago. I will say that if you like Essential Quaility, this guy Mattress Mack is really fucking you over in the pari-mutuel odds with this 2.5 million dollar bet. Never seen anything like that in a big race like this. Obviously there is a ton of money left to come in, but it will effect the odds by at least a .5 or so I would think.

I will be routing for any horse that I would of been very unlikely to bet.

Looked like the winner entering the stretch. Fractions seemed quick enough, 8 was being prompted the whole time. Knew the 14 would hang with such a wide trip, but that fucking 9 saved enough ground. Should of went by.

Thanks everyone! Really needed it! I know it was live odds and I wish more of you had a piece. Been a tough stretch with a lot of close calls. But Dean has been a horse I have had my eye on for a while. I knew he was capable of putting a round in like he did today. I am thankful the bookmakers had him at +1400 after round 2. Crazy with his distance and putting that we got that price. Nice to have a stress free back nine.

With all the tough beats I’ve had lately I was saying “Please don’t have a heart attack and die Dean, before you sign your card”. Luckily he didn’t. Maybe having everyone back in the thread will get us all on a nice run! Nice to not feel so buried coming up on the BIG 40. I don’t feel a day over 57...

NBA been tough on me lately, though I've had some runbad, including yesterday which honestly should have been a win. I can admit the difference between a bad pick and bad luck, and I've had some of both lately. But yes, before the playoffs in both NBA and NHL can be a tough handicapping job.
