I typically don’t bet outrights Pre-flop on the Euro Tour because you really get a diverse mix of players week to week. Last week I did get the Winner (Hansen) at 8-1 on the live betting on Friday. It was his first win at age 30, so I am chucking him right out for this week.
The kid he beat, Nienebar, is going to be special. Drives it as long as Dechambeau but is tall and lanky with a nice natural swing. He didn’t choke last week, my guy just out played him a bit on the back nine. I just can’t take Nienaber considering his poor form before last week and his price (+2500) absurdly bad. If the kid beats me this week God bless him. Hope to get him on some longer odds next year.
Stone and Macyintyre are the favorites. Christiaan Bezuidenhout Made the cut in the masters and then started slow last week, but put together a nice 67 on Sunday. In a weak field, staying in South Africa for a second week, looking like he may have just had to get over the jet lag and being the highest ranked player in the field...he is a slam dunk play at 18-1 imho. I would take him in any matchup except if he is paired with Stone. Stone is in good form and should be the favorite, but 12-1 is no bueno.
Happy Thanksgiving to all. Hope you will be cashing virtual tickets all weekend.
