Bryson left a lot of strokes out there and still shot 4 under. He should be able to go 5 or 6 under on this back nine if he gets in a groove. So far the pack is tight. Rahm struggling with those new clubs.

I was going to post Cavs under 210.
Why didn't I? Did I change my mind?
No. I thought it started at 5:30 PT, instead of 5. Oops. Of course the first quarter only has 43 points and live is 198 now.
What have I done?
Pair or 10pm’s.
LA was interesting too. I passed. Their bench plays hard. LeBron and co will lax out the 4th during a typical game and the lead most likely will increase with the bench
Never done an NBA teaser and there is reason. I blame NFL for a bad teaser habit.
Portland Trail Blazers -5½ for Game
Dallas Mavericks +7½ for Game
Nets' Kyrie Irving Out for Personal Reasons, Wasn't in Contact with Nash
LOL.
Funny you say this.
Was going to bet Philly -2.
He was announced out for personal reasons. Line jumped to Philly -4. Not only did I abandon my plans to bet Philly, but I considered betting Nets before scrapping the entire idea.
I said, "I'll stick with that obvious Cavs under." Then I got busy and thought, "Okay, I have 'til 5:30." Then I didn't have until 5:30.
What a day.

gonna be interesting to see if the NBA ratings continue to be in the shitter where they were during the end of last season...this was a nationally televised game too...with no KD...TNT can't look too kindly on that...although they did open up their broadcast with political shit saying how monumental of a day it was that the Dems took both senate seats in GA...i was looking forward to basketball instead i got politics...i turned on CBB for the night...if i want politics ill turn to CNN...i dont care if the hooker and the old dude won, i just dont give a fuck about that when im trying to watch fucking sports...
me thinks the NBA aint gonna learn before it's too late that this shit just aint good for business...
EDIT: if this couldnt get more absurd...imagine not showing up to your job for two straight days cause 'i just feel bummed that some shit went on'...gonna guess that most people who work at mcdonalds, starbucks, amazon probably couldn't do that...

NBA adopts new rules requiring teams to add full-time mental health staff for 2019-2020 season
Adam Silver talked candidly (I respect that) about taking calls from players and the problems in the league during one of the more recent MIT sports analytic conferences. There is a podcast out there somewhere.
Kyrie in Boston just made me hate hearing any news about the team. Never ending shit show of under achievement that year or two.
Stupid sport.
I may have fucked up a winning Mavs Blazers teaser.
a-fucking-men to hockey...
i feel for silver...he was at the forefront of the 'yeah gambooooooooling/DFS is good for our league' when stern was still commish...he genuinely seems like a nice enough and obviously smart enough dude...
and i dont want to piss on anybody with mental health issues, shit is not a joke...but this is also a business, a big one at that...i havent heard anything being made of this, but this is aint nothing...if you remember the NBA got in royal shit for the whole load management fiasco (now being delightfully called "injury management") when the superstar players would just sit out nationally televised TNT/ESPN/ABC games like it was nothing...that new TV contract negotiation in a couple of years is gonna be interesting...
was definitely glad kyrie left...i didnt like rooting for that team either...
watching the 1987 allstar game on NBATV right now...i long for those days...48 minutes, let's strap on the brass fucking knuckles after a night of drinking and smoking and fucking bitches and get after it...
I over estimated Doncic’s importance.
I am a NBA casual and just got taxed.
I’m supposed to know Uncle Drew?
I need a life coach
Speaking of which.... PP23 had words for me last year about hedging & drugs. Filthy habit
while im on the ol' soapbox, it is pretty amazing the difference between the star basketball player and the star QB...
now i get that (a) there are waaaaaay more basketball games than football games (b) a QB is one of only 53 or 90 (college) and a star basketball player is one of 15...
but i just could never see a patrick mahomes or deshaun watson or russell wilson doing something like kyrie did today...i get it that basketball players are coddled from the time they are teens if they are deemed to have amazing potential, but it's not like star football players aren't given the same treatment...i mean justin fields obviously got really fucked up in the CLEM/OSU game and he came back in the fucking game! dude could have easily said, 'fuck this, im gonna be the #2 or at worst a top 5 pick in the upcoming NFL draft, im done with this playing for free shit' and i think most rational people would say, 'good move kid'...
guess it's just the culture of the different sports...i mean you can argue that if you are a star QB you are the team just like lebron is the lakers...if mahomes goes down KC is fuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked silly...but he wouldn't pull the shit kyrie did today...
