Thats what got me. How could the Cavaliers be -7 against the Magic after this last 2 weeks capped off by getting smoked by 33? Is -7 some discount? Would it have been -10 earlier in the year?
I don’t really watch NBA and really don’t know who the Magic are and didn’t look at the numbers. Just seeing Cavaliers favored like that spooked me.
Clearly they haven’t adjusted yet. Or there are still suckers for LeBron.
But all this is a distraction and noise. Trust the numbers. I think Daly taught us you autobet til it doesn’t work.
BnP, Boston radio was seriously giggling with anticipation of IT coming back for the Cavaliers. Cav’s improve? They were gonna implode. And they have.
Danny Ainge is a motherfucking god
Edit:
Here’s some ATS porn. I should spoiler cause you’ll be touching yourself at work.

No doubt ainge is an elite exec but just to be clear...no one “in the know” thought IT was going to produce like he did last year. He was an extra trade chip in the kyrie for a lottery pick trade, thats all. We will see a lot of players in the coming years play out of their minds for brad stevens. Hes already up there with pop and carlisle, possibly the #1 coach right now.

I know there will be a trade and Cavs will get better. They can’t get worse.
In the meantime, the damage that was inflicted by the Celts on a rival is pretty cool stuff.
As good as you think Opie is as coach - a review of what he got out of IT was better than we thought.
I get the lingering hip issue. It’s all still true. Stevens had a defensive liability on the floor and still made a name for himself as a defensive genius.
Live bet warriors -1.5
IT in his best days topped out at a poor mans kyrie. Kyrie was never the best fit for lbj at the 1 but they both snuck 4 games in of playing out of their damn minds vs GS and got rings. Switch out kyrie for CP3 for that trilogy and i think the cavs win 2/3 (they most likely werent beating the durant version)
I hopped on the IT train for a minute last year when i saw that he was scoring 28 ppg and had a better PER than iverson in his best years. When i started watching closely it was obvious that he was in the perfect system and most likely wouldnt be that effective elsewhere. Add in this injury and id rather have reggie jackson.

I envy you guys.
Lakers saved day from being a disaster, but still went 1-3.
As mentioned in an earlier post, I think I am starting to see some problems with my betting strategy which didn't transition well from early-season to mid-season.
I'm going to make some adjustments. To be honest, I think the Knicks would have won if Porzingis didn't go down in the 2nd quarter, but that doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.
Adjustments will start tomorrow. The overall strategy will be the same, but I am going to change a few factors which have kept me both staying away from some good picks and making some bad ones.
Analysis of today's 4 picks:
Knicks: Good but lost due to injjury
Lakers: Good and won
Both unders: Bad
I'm not just saying this because of the results. I would have stood by the Knicks pick even if Porzingis didn't get hurt, and they just lost.
Still feeling my way through all of this.
Ok 2 and 1 yesterday on my value nba picks and another NHL push. I don’t have anything for today value wise. Some value on suns but without Booker I’ll pass. Of course we all have to be eyeing t wolves. Will they feast on the cavs carcass? I think I will auto bet it but after this humiliation doesn’t Labron respond with everything in his fiber ? Not enough. Line seems correct though.
Houston under 207.5
Starting in 20-25 min
More soon
Actually I think that's it for tonight.
Agree with Charham that Phoenix +9.5 is tempting, but they're missing both Booker and Chandler, so screw that.
Ugh.
Houston under had terrible first half (118 points), but great 2nd half, and was going to be close whether it won or lost.
James Harden hit a pair of 3s to hurt me, but the dagger came from a steal with less than a minute left (Miami was careless), allowing an uncontested layup for Houston to bring it to 207 points.
With about 30 seconds left, Miami got fouled while scoring a basket, and that was that. Ended up losing by 2.5, with a 210 total.
On the "picks I considered making but decided against, due to my adjustments" front, Miami +4.5 would have lost (sharps loved this one btw), and Brooklyn +9.5 would have squeaked by with a 0.5-point win.
Actually still considering San Antonio under. Will post update shortly.
Decided to fire on San Antonio under.
Game starts in about 20 min.
San Antonio under 202 -105 (you can get 203 on Bovada on some accounts)
Donny Osman and IT tag team solves a problem
Like that Donny Osman kid.
Cavs show up. Hmmm
