Lydia Ko - Not looking good. She had the physio working on her (Didn’t see it but the broadcast mentioned it). She will have to go low tommorrow. Course took rain and today was very getable. Tough spot after the two straight T2 finishes. If I could do it over I would still have to bet her, but prob bet half the usual.
Horsfield - This is the one that would make it a great week regardless. He did what he had to do today without his best stuff. Birdied 3 of the 4 Par 5’s and added another birdie with no bogeys. So got to be happy with the position after Day 1. Got other contenders in the mix which isn’t exactly what you want. All and all a good Day 1. This is a great spot for him to steal one in a weak field.
Certainly doesn't help that both Nelly K and Sei Young Kim are in the lead at -5, which means that both will have to fade back a bit.

DJ has shown glimpses of finding his game. But he can’t seem to get the drive, approach and putter to work at the same time. He will get the drive straightened out and the approach is shitty and vice versa. Every time it looks like he has things back on track something goes wrong. I figured if he ever was going to find it, it would be here. Not yet.
To be fair, this has been his whole year since Sunday at the Genesis.
