I was at the game. Right behind Dodger dugout, front row of field section (though behind the 6 or so rows of Dugout Club seats).
I took Benjamin. Seats in the front row were more expensive, but it was worth it so he didn't have obstruction in viewing the game.
He enjoyed seeing the 3 Dodgers HR go out.
Last year it was a 5-1 dud Dodgers loss.
We saw fireworks at the end because every Friday game is fireworks night.
Benjamin appeared on the giant Diamondvision screen in the 8th inning during one of the "dance to music between innings" segments.
Nights like that are the good stuff Druff. I used to take my little son once a month to the Red Sox. Tickets were ungodly expensive and I couldn't necessarily always afford such an outlay.
But nights like that are the good stuff. He will always remember but YOU will cherish the memory more.
Soon he will grow up and be able to read the standings. He will come to realize who the Marlins are and the joke of a schedule the Dodgers benefit from.
