Somehow covered the under despite a 68-point 1st quarter.
Phew!
Second consecutive 1-0 day, and aside from that 2-3 day on Friday, I continue to roll in the NBA.

Okay, so I only see one MLB game I like so far.
Joe Musgrove has been getting all the press this year, with his no-hitter and 0.47 ERA.
But what about Brandon Woodruff? Did you know he had a no-hitter through 6 on April 7? Did you know he's been one of the best pitchers in baseball since 2020? He has.
The Brewers are banged up, playing without Yelich, Cain, and Wong, but I like the price here, in what should be a pitchers' duel, and to be honest I believe Woodruff will perform better.
Milwaukee (Woodruff) +147 at San Diego (Musgrove)
WARNING: The line has been moving the other way, so the books don't seem to agree with me. Bet at your own risk.
Time for some NBA
Boston -6.5 vs. Chicago (LaVine out, Walker/Smart questionable)
Utah -7 vs. Lakers (Davis/Schoeder/Gasol/Conley/Gobert probable, Mitchell out)
Oklahoma City at Washington - Over 232 (Hachimura/Dort out, Len questionable)
Okay I was vacillating on this one but I decided to fire:
St. Louis -108 (Flaherty) at Washington (J. Ross)
I’ll take Nats -102
Add in the Rays -102 as well.
I’m 3-1 in posted MLB plays. I’ve quietly been having a great start to the MLB season. Did very well last week playing some big dogs, including riding Tigers in Houston and Rays in New York and Miami in ATL. Running good to hit big dogs at a high rate. Let’s see how these “toss up” games go
You faded me in the wrong sport yesterday. Though you were bailed out by the Rays pick to basically break even.
I went 2-0 in MLB yesterday, winning both St. Louis (easily) and Milwaukee (tight game, but took it down).
Unfortunately, a terrible 45-point third sunk my OKC over in the NBA, and Boston lost outright. The Lakers did their part in losing big, so I got that one, to finish 1-2.
Light NBA schedule today.
I have one for now:
Atlanta vs. Orlando - Under 217.5 (Ennis out, Carter-Williams out, Gallinari out, Hunter out)
Here's five MLB games:
Milwaukee (Burnes) +105 at San Diego (Paddack)
Yankees (Taillon) -123 vs. Atlanta (Morton)
Cubs (Arrieta) +115 vs. Mets (T. Walker)
Baltimore (Harvey) +109 at Miami (Neidert)
Kansas City (Keller) -101 vs. Tampa Bay (Hill)
Incorrect. There was no bail out. Rays won EASILY, never in doubt baby. I also had Boston earlier in the day but won’t take any credit for it as I didn’t post here about it. #winningday Boston seems to be underrated by the books so far this year. I think their team looks pretty good!
I’ll join you on Yankees, take the Marlins , Rays and join you on Cubs
Also took Chi Sox
Well there was indeed a doubt today for the Rays, as old man Rich Hill did old man things and blew a 5-0 lead, allowing KC to get it to 5-4, with a man on second nobody out. Then KC shit the bed once Hill was gone, and the Rays are ahead 7-4 right now. Marlins also came back but didn't quite get there, and it's 7-5 Baltimore in the 9th.
As I'm sure you saw, we already won the Yankees, and Cubs are up 3-1 in the 6th.
My sole NBA pick won without much drama, thanks to a good 3rd quarter. First half wasn't good, but it ended up not being close. If Cubs and Orioles hold on, I have a guaranteed winning day in MLB as well.
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?
With that said, it was good day.
I went 4-1 in MLB (losing only that Royals pick), and 1-0 in NBA.
Well I was begging for Lydia Ko to make a bogey last week and it never happened. She doubles right out the gate this week. Got a few bucks on J Y Ko. Didn’t like it enough to post.
As for the Zurich Classic, obviously the two fav pairs have merit. Rahm/Palmer have won before and enjoy playing together. X/Cantlay are the best overall team by a mile when it comes to world rankings. Cantlay is not in form at the moment.
The prices just aren’t right. These guys have to go so low that taking 7 or 8 to 1 just doesn’t seem smart to me. I don’t want to burn too much more money on Finau but I think a small bet on Finau/Champ at 18-1 is a good play. I’ll prob put a few hundred on them, nothing huge.
I’ll wait for the Euro tournament to sort itself out and maybe pick it up live.
