Looks like gut made a good call, scoring way under pace on that Memphis game.
Here's a 1Q in honor of Sanlmar. Utah went on a huge streak and rocketed up the standings, but has been in a big slump lately, dropping 5 straight. However, fresh off a streak-breaking win in Portland, I believe they will do well against no-heart Houston in the 1st.
Utah +100 +1 at Houston 1Q
tempted to try to middle it now at 224.5....but memphis worries me when they start cold like this. This just might be super low.
Today I have:
suns 1q +4.5 -115
Raptors/Timberwolves under 1h 118.5 -115
After getting burned twice in a row with Charlotte unders, I skipped today's game against Detroit, only to see it's going way under. Ugh. I liked that one but was running too poorly to go through with it.
Here are today's picks:
San Antonio +6.5 at Denver
San Antonio at Denver - Under 216
Miami at Golden State - Under 218.5
Looked at some of the historical data on oddshark for first quarter and Lakers havent been covering the big spreads well as of late, and suns have been starting good. 4.5 is a lot to cover first quarter and think we may be on to something with taking the dog first quarter vs the big favorite when the trends are good. My other pick lit money on fire (not even close), so took a small loss on the two picks with the added juice. I also grabbed Baylor -6 on a friend's tip and had to fade some garbage time. Now riding with druff on the Miami under and also grabbed them -6.5. gl all tonight.

Geez that Spurs game was just torture.
The under never looked good, but they were way ahead after the first half and even through most of the 3rd. +6.5 looked like a lock.
Then they chunked the entire lead off and fell like 7 behind. Then they came back and got 5 ahead, and I thought again I had it. Then they fired that off, and I ended up losing thanks to last-24-second intentional fouling, so the score ended up Denver winning by 7.
1-2 today, as the GS under covered.
I can't believe I'm doing this, but...
Portland at New Orleans - Over 243
Yes, over 243
Pray there are no dead periods of scoring.
The NBA is officially dead with lines like this.
Oh, also on same game:
New Orleans -3
Early lines I'm looking at:
Bucks -1 (think this will go back up seems trappy and public tho)
Suns -7.5 or -4.5 for first half, my book doesn't have 1q up yet
With Giannis officially out for this game, bucks are now a slight dog at +1. I still think they win outright without him at the pacers. Suns have moved down to -7 for the game, I like playing the -2.5 1q here ( I bet it at -115). Warriors are pretty horrible in 1q.
Interested in hearing other PFA'ers thoughts on tonight's games and hopefully druff can put down a couple winning picks again tonight, and get them in by 3:40 Pacific time
breakfast bet:
NOVA -5.5 v. MARQ...
NOVA coming off 3 straight losses and are at home...just like the spot for NOVA here and the number is reasonable...
keep your bets to a bagel and coffee here...
Last minute:
Detroit +2.5 at Orlando 1Q
Washington at NY - Under 227.5
Portland at Memphis - Under 234.5
Miami at Utah - Under 216.5
Well after winning the first one, I can't get this 1Q thing right.
About to lose my third in a row. I think I'm going to give up on it.
Of course Detroit wins by 8 in the 2nd after being clobbered in the 1st.
They actually started up 7-2 and then got beat 22-6, and that was over for my bet.
I took Detroit 1Q instead of the moneyline or spread because I thought it was more likely that they would hold up well in the first and then collapse. Damnit.
NY under going well so far though.
