Okay, let's try to win in MLB here.

The Red Sox have won 9 in a row. Too bad Sanlmar isn't here anymore to taunt about this. Today it ends. No 10 game streak for you! In fact, I'm so certain that I'm laying the 1.5.

Minnesota (Pineda) +140 -1.5 vs. Boston (G. Richards)

Also, Rich Hill is 41 and has looked pretty bad both in the spring and in the regular season. The Rangers suck, but they're showing a little life lately.

Texas (Lyles) +166 at Tampa Bay (Hill)

Not many games running in the NBA.

I see an over I like, and that's about it.

Sacramento vs. Phoenix - Over 234

Wow, 3-0 in the 8th, and the fucking Twins give up a bases clearing double to Alex Verdugo after working him to a 0-2 count on a lefty-lefty matchup.

    Brutal.

The worst part was that he almost struck out on a foul tip, but the catcher dropped it. That would've preserved the 3-0 lead.

Now I'm fucked unless they score 2 in the 8th, or unless they hit a HR to win by 2+. That's the problem with -1.5 home bets.

Twins have 1st and 2nd nobody out. Get them both home and I'm back in biz.

Don't go against my grain when I'm 33-14 in the last 47 picks!

This looked like a lock win for me (and loss for you), but a head scratchingly low scoring 4th quarter (in a close game, no less) has made this one close.

214 points right now with 4:37 left.

Live line right now is 237.5, so I'm slightly favored.

    I'd say good luck, but...

So in MLB today I took a bad beat in the first game, as I mentioned earlier. I was a dropped foul tip away from very likely winning Twins -1.5, but a bases clearing double fucked me, and I had the heartbreak of having a tie game go into the 9th when holding the home team -1.5. Of course, the Twins won 4-3, so my bet lost.

On the plus side, my extra innings magic continues. Texas went into extras tied 4-4. put up 2 in the 10th thanks to a home run, and blanked TB in the bottom of the frame. So I hit that +166, for a winning MLB day overall.

Wow, this one coming down to the wire. 120-112 with 58s left. I would've had a guaranteed tie minimum had Hield not missed 2 of 3 free throws.

Edit: Two more shots hit, the second of which with 23.4 seconds left, putting it at 236 and sealing it.

Sorry, Legalize Meth. Hard to fade me right now in NBA.

Two MLB I like so far:

Arizona +171 (Widener) at Washignton (Scherzer)
Miami +119 (Castano) vs. San Francisco (DeSclafani)

Two excellent teams in Miami and Arizona on our radar!

    NBA:

New York at Dallas - Over 211
Utah vs. Indiana - Under 233 (Turner, McDermott questionable)
    Portland -2.5 at San Antonio
    Portland/San Antonio - Over 234.5
Orland at Toronto - Under 212.5 (Siakam/Lowry/Carter-Williams/Anunoby out, Bembry/Trent doubtful, VanVleet probable)

With you on Miami. Why the hate though? Decent time will compete for wild card. Wait until Sixto gets back and then they have a great rotation!

Well, I just took a bad beat in NBA, which was inevitable as I had dodged it for awhile.

Toronto under was looking great, and then a shitload of idiotic points rained down during the last 2.5 minutes of trash time, and the total ended up 215.

    Yuck.

Already won the Utah under (though it was also close).

Both segments of the Portland game aren't looking good (Portland down 8, live-lined to a total of 218.5), and NY over is off to a decent start.

So this might end up being a bad day, though if NY over holds and I can somehow get lucky with Portland, then I could win. But in all reality I'm probably going 2-3 or 1-4.

In MLB, Widener pitched great for the Dbacks, but he matched 0s with Scherzer, and Schwarber hit a walkoff HR in the 9th to win 1-0.

Miami popped off their own big HR in the 8th to break a 1-1 tie, and win for me and NickyPipes, so I go 1-1 and slightly win in baseball for the day.

Well, the day wasn't good, but it wasn't horrible.

2-3 in NBA, winning the first (Utah under) and the last (NY over), and losing the other 3 in between. Honestly the Toronto under should have been a win. That was pure bad luck. The Spurs/Portland game almost halfway hit, as the Portland -2.5 part fell a bit short, with the Blazers winning by 1.

Baseball I had two 8th inning ties split. Marlins won thanks to a 3-run HR, Diamondbacks lost thanks to a 9th inning HR. I'd rather it was reversed, but I still come out a bit ahead with both being dogs.

Still lost a full unit today overall, but as Daly always says, "We move on."

Even when you're running hot, every day can't be a winner.

Golfs been really tough lately. I just stayed away from the PGA this week. S Y Kim has played well but 6 bogeys is too much this week. Too much to ask to catch both Lydia and Nelly. I am beating myself up for not taking Kaymer at the Austrian Wednesday Night at +1000. I gave it some serious thought and was just to gunshy to pull the trigger. So essentially at very short odds, now he’s probably a slam dunk.

DJ and Rory have cost people a lot of money including myself. I got off the Rory train in a timely fashion and I think it’s time to fade DJ as well. He seems to be hanging around making cuts and not stringing the birdies together. Very similar to his play before he had such a ridiculous year. I think Rahm is the guy right now to really give a look at. In all honesty he really should of been in the thick of things at the Masters. It looks like he has adjusted to the new clubs. So many top guys but I see him getting a W in the upcoming weeks.

Just an absolute clinic by Cink this week. Might be a Sunday where they post lines for who is going to finish in second place.
