That was a horrendous end. I saw it coming though, as soon as the Bucs got that touchdown to make it 16-10. The Saints were just playing awful, and it looked like an epic comeback was about to happen.
And it did.
They even got a second fucking chance when the final TD was invalidated due to holding, and still couldn't stop it.
Tom Brady, for as great as he always was, only had one 13+ point comeback in the 4th quarter, in his 23-year career. This was the second.
Sadly if I had bet spread, this would have been virtually clinched (and won). I was so sure it was a winner when it was mid-4th and Saints ball, I tweeted a brag about being "smart enough" to fade 2022 Brady. Oops.
