A look at how today is going:
Notre Dame +103 at Syracuse - Easy win by 17 points
Kansas State -1.5 vs Oklahoma State - Complete beatdown 41-0 in the 4th. Obviously will win.
Louisville +145 vs Wake Forest - Wake forest briefly got ahead at the half, but now it's a 41-14 blowout. Easy win.
Missouri +150 at South Carolina - The "other" USC trails 23-10 in the early 4th. Hopefully it holds for me.
Eastern Michigan +215 vs Toledo - Eastern Mich was up 24-17 after 3, but Toledo caught 'em and won by 3. Too bad. Would've been great to hit this one. Would have won had I done the spread.
Charlotte +15.5 at Rice - Speaking of spreads, how sweet would this have been had I chosen the moneyline? Charlotte walloped Rice was 56 points and won by over 30.
Tulsa -102 vs SMU - Tulsa behind the whole way, defense just hasn't been there. Down 45-27 in the 4th.
Massachusetts +103 vs New Mexico State - UMASS up 10-3 in the 2nd, but has since been shut down, and is behind by 10 in the late 4th. This one's losing.
Georgia -23.5 vs Florida (ploppy pick) - Really irritating. #1 ranked UGA up 28-3 at the half, only to sleepwalk in the 3rd and allow Florida to get back within 8. Presently it's 35-20, but I don't have a lot of optimism that they'll cover. Never be a ploppy.
Totals:
Navy vs Temple - Over 41.5 - 20-17 game right now with 9 to play. Hopefully someone puts through a TD and I can stop checking this one.
Boise State vs Colorado State - Under 42.5 -115 - Starting in 30 min
San Diego State at Fresno State - Over 43 - Starting in 4 hours
OVERALL:
Wins/certain wins: 4 (4.30 units)
Losses/certain losses: 2 (-2.00 units)
Likely losses: 2 (-2.00 units)
Likely wins: 2 (2.41 units)
Not started: 2
So if everything goes as it currently stands, I will be 6-4 and up 2.71 units going into the final two. Really need Missouri to hold, and it would be great if UGA could with the 4th by 10 and cover (but I'm not counting on it).
Well two of them just flipped.
UGA now up 42-20 with 11 minutes left, so that's a favorite to cover now. Navy game still stuck at 37 points with 3:24 remaining, so that's a dog to hit the over 41.5. Navy with a drive right now on Temple's 30, 3rd and 1. If they don't get a TD here, it's over most likely, unless Temple scores to either win or send it to OT.
NBA:
Indiana at Brooklyn - Over 239
Got lucky with one (Temple tied it, forcing OT), and unlucky with the other (Georgia scoring died, barely missed covering).
Missouri easily held without much drama, Tulsa tried to come back but fell short.
Dog moneyline picks did well today, with Missouri +150, Louisville +145 hitting and only Eastern Michigan losing (though it was close). I don't really count the +103 as dogs since it's so close to even money (those went 1-1).
As expected, 6-4 and +2.71 units so far. I can't lose, as the worst it can end up would be 6-6, +0.71. Hoping those two remaining totals work out. At the moment I am slightly up in my NCAA picks overall.
One more NBA total pick.
Utah/Memphis has MiCon (Michael Conley) resting and Ja Morant sick (and unlikely to play).
Some reserves are also injured/sick on both teams.
Utah vs Memphis - Under 225.5

I'll be honest. I almost didn't bet this Indiana over because I hate lines like over 239. Too many ways it can go wrong, and there's not a lot of room to blow out such a line on the other side. Basically you're one scoring dry spell away from being fucked. Well, I already have this dry spell, as there were only 17 points in the first 5 minutes.
And the Boise State game has the opposite problem, scoring 17 in 1Q.
Probably not going to be the best evening after a fairly good day up til now.
Mel Tucker says "Hold my beer."
2nd quarter in a surprisingly competitive game so far, Mich St. has 4th and one on like the Michigan 6 yard line down 10-7. They are obviously going for it which I dont hate. But they call a timeout to draw up a play, and what they come up with is some sort of slow developing delayed handoff that fooled no-one, and the running back got tackled by 3 people at once the second he got the ball. Horrible.
I obviously have Mich St. and they are still drawing very live to cover, but if they do it isn't going to be because of brilliant play calling.
That W. Virginia beat really was spectacular. When Van Pelt does his "Beat of the Season" episode this is definitely on it. Possibly beat of the year.
Starts in 90 mins
-2.5 and Over 160.5
Nets blew yet another lead and lost outright.
Over barely covered. I keep forgetting to fade them and the Lakers. They were big favorites today.
Well, split my NBA picks, lost Boise under, now I need Fresno to go over. If it doesn't, I break slightly above even today.
NFL picks coming a little later.
Did Kalam have the under? My God what luck. Anything besides a broken tackle TD and they kneel it out.
Flipped me from break even day to 3-1
94 to 62. Held a team who won 4 in a row to 33% FG. Over missed due to a 33-25 very rare low first half with missed easy ones and FT's, pace was high as I predicted for all 40 minutes but my bad on that
Did I mention them being very good defensively? I have.
Cover by 29 on spread
Getting on this team often, nba is a mystery school bus so often to me but these games are easy, all season (short) playoff mentality every game due to smaller number of teams also
