so that's what $35M/year looks like on the mound...

    still hitting 100 in the 7th after 100 pitches...what a hoss...

finally a pitcher who isn't a dripping vag...refreshing to see...

Both of Baseball’s 1P’s worked GBCP

Yes sir. 2P may be the new 1P. However, that’s a tough act to follow.

Enough time has passed that I can talk about it now, but I came within an inch of winning ~$75k and blew it, and was "perturbed" for a couple days. I made a couple lineups for the big GPP Chargers/Steelers Sunday night showdown with $200K for first, and made a lineup that would have tied for 2nd place ($100k), which only a single other person had, so would have split 2nd and 3rd for ~75k.

    Lineup was:

    Connor (captain)
    Rivers
    Williams
    Henry
    Steelers
    Hodges

-However, right before game start I switched Hodges to Juju (who did nothing all game), and that was that. Went from a lineup that would have won $75k to one that won $400.

    Sigh

And they should. Just an awful and unwatchable product that the league has ruined. And at this point the ledge has lost control of the narrative and the networks have to run with the elephant in the room because it simply can’t be ignored any longer. The browns coach came out this week and basically said he would be fined/fired if he got into the officiating but “just watch the game”..... and everyone in the room knew 100% what he was talking about and was in complete agreement.

I’m an ex college official. My honest opinion is shit can the entire roster and start over. Have tryouts at the college level and take the best of the best. There are literally thousands of guys who would kill for a chance to work in the NFL. Get rid of all the politics of officiating and stat over. Next is get rid of challanges. No more reviewing plays. If a bad call gets made you get remanded - strike two you go back to the SEC and pray you get a second shot someday. Bad calls are part of the game. Don’t try and have a instant replay system that slows the game down try and paper over problems.

Well, it was mostly McFarland who did the rant. I think the commentators are all trained and reminded not to be critical of the refs, but he got emotional and lost it for a few minutes at the end of the game. I think he is actually real good, but wouldn't be surprised if he was replaced next year because of the NFL quietly telling ESPN to get rid of him to send a message.

We went though this last year with Druff.

Btw, (2P) is second period. It’s the new drug. It’s experimental and the side effects aren’t known yet but the early results are quite promising.

GBCP is in possession of some ridiculous good numbers and some simple algebra informs him that he is making the right play.

His risk is the current small sample size. The hockey New Year was like last week. He’s a big boy and knows the score though

It’s like some lab experiment where the rat will do literally anything to get another hit of dopamine. Hockey was that good last year.

I was so strung out by the end of last season I had to see a doctor.

I am a nit and a cynic. “Life will never be that good.” In contrast, GBCP is apparently one of those optimists who embraces life & opportunity that I read about in magazines.

    I did sides so far
    Oilers -126
    Hurricanes +113

I know what he’s doing and I don’t have the time so I just might blind bet his card.

We need Simpdog to perform the blessing. However, he still works a day job and it’s interfering with his ability to earn.

couldn't agree more...but san hit all the points I would...

we were laying that juice regularly last year with PIT/SJ/TB/CHI in the 1Ps and not even thinking about it...the days where you could get CHI 1Ps at under 200 juice was the opportunity of a lifetime...

I laid it last night with NSH/VGK, -200, 1/2 unit...think it took four and a half minutes to go over in the 2nd...

this shit ain't for everyone, whole lotta juice to lay...sample size may end up bending me over and fucking me right up the ass...but like san said, I saw the numbers and am willing to be punished with a fisting if im wrong...

I welcome simp to chime in on this shit since he's the NHL godfather...ill keep posting my musings on this stuff until he calls me fucking retarded...

That was no gamble. I prepared the whole season (my whole life) for that game. That was as close to a lock as exists in sports wagering.

Did you read my pregame posts? Dodgers told us their plan and we had the data. It’s so rare that stats and handicapping are so perfectly reflected in the outcome. I was so sure that I was calm.

I wasn’t the only one who telegraphed the Nats v Dodgers as early as late July. Not by a long shot. I am credited with very few original thoughts.

I am awesome at spotting talent though. Your fucking picks better work. I’m kidding a little

no kidding needed...me and daly have chatted about CFB DFS...this shit is the same...results oriented business...only a matter of how much money we take...we are of the idea of taking all the fucking money...

Score in 1st 10 minute was 6-0 last night

    @12:30p
    MOBILE - TENNIS - ATP - 201214 SHAPOVALOV, DENIS -224 FOR MATCH W

More Asian tennis next week. Practice waking up at 5pm like you did when you played poker

I hate weather plays... but 10-25mph winds
I hate overs cause the ball ain’t juiced but I caught some value yesterday

    MOBILE - BASEBALL - MLB - 920 HOUSTON ASTROS/NEW YORK YANKEES OVER 8 -111 FOR GAME W

Keep it visual I was once told

1st innings have been smashing in playoffs. It’s been an autobet as GBCP knows. It’s Greinke vs The Bombers so there is that too.

MOBILE - MLB PROPS - HOUSTON ASTROS @ NEW YORK YANKEES - SCORE IN 1ST INNING - YES -110 W

    The sharper books have 2’s now. I have a 2 +105 for VGK. (1.5 -175 elsewhere)
I am not offered 2nd or 3rd or 1st 10 min prop. All the good stuff.

I love my book but I need to have a come to jesus about my hockey future

Tonight I will wait a min or two and get down live. Prolly a good strategy anyway.

So, basically since Harbaugh era Stanford has absolutely owned UCLA, especially in Palo Alto. No matter how respectively strong the teams are, or what the spread is, Stanford always completely blows them out.

I know injuries and whatnot, but given recent history this -4.5 line just seems way too low. Plus, as someone who has watched way too many nightcap UCLA games, from what I can recall every time UCLA plays one of these Thursday or Friday late-night games they get completely blown away.

Also took Ark St. +6. Honestly, I think if you just blindly take the home team in these weekday games (NCAAF and NFL) you will be way ahead. Just too big a built in disadvantage having to travel on a short week.

hard to keep this Astros offense down, even in a 7 game series. But if the Nats series price is +200 or more I'm firing a substantial bet.

San likes to toot other people’s horns when we catch fire.

You have been killing it. Well done my friend. I have been fighting this year in the NFL/NHL but you are helping me keep my head above water.
