But this week he did, and if he actually wins the tournament, it will be painful AF.

In short, there is no escaping the pain in Golf. The money to be won in outrights is just too significant. The 2nd and 3rd place finishes eat away at you. The variance is so great. The needle is always there.

Feel your pain. I bet Jordan Speith to with the Open at 18 to 1, but my fellow Cal Bear Colin Morikawa bested him. Still loved the bet though. Next year at St. Andrews? Bet the farm on Bryson. It favors guys that crush the ball. Nicklaus and Woods only won two Opens elsewhere. John Daly won here too.

ive dealt with daly on many swaps on bets and DFS and he's been nothing but reputable to deal with...

i looked at the thread and multiple times he said that the coin was a YOLO thing...if you had a few bucks to take a shot at a gamble then why the fuck not...if you think that there's something wrong with it then dont put money behind it...it's just like any bet in this thread...you like it, put your money behind it...if you dont then dont...we're all adults here...

Yeah. I grabbed that One too. I wasnt planning on playing tonight at all, but just too many points to pass IMO. I assume a lot of the motivation in this line moving so high is to mess up the teasers.

I went with +10 -120. I think Dallas will be good this year honestly
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?

Come on Sammy keep it going one time. Let’s go low! Let’s see if he can put a whole round together.

@Jsears you are going to win this matchup like Secretariat at the Belmont. BTW please throw out so more matchups. If you have a knack for picking against guys shooting +11, we good.

Anyone think this KU - Coastal over is pretty tempting? It's 52. Seems low. Might fire a flare on this one.

Box, we're in good position and we got a 50 year old on the nose so fatigue shouldn't be an issue. But we deserved better than -3 from Cejka. This was one of my most confident picks this year. He starts birdie/birdie/birdie and ends up posting -3. I don't know what's going on brother. Still in great shape but a few sloppy three putts just a bummer after that start. ESP with the beat last week.

Still in good shape though. But Christ thought he was going low for us.

Good call if you did. I bet Kansas and lost in spectacularly horrible fashion. Kansas didn't cover by a couple points, and they went 0-5 going for it on 4th down in Coastal Carolina red zone, including a last minute drive where the WR dropped a TD in the end zone. If they make one of those or even kick a FG, I win. Kansas was outgained by only 50 yards and didn't even turn the ball over and still somehow managed to lose by 27. Very hard to do with that stat line.

I did, nice being able to go to bed at halftime knowing it was a virtual lock, I did not want to watch the second half in a game like this. Also had the under in the Pirates game, so it was a good night.

Tempted on Ohio State - Oregon. OSU is laying 14.5. That seems too high on the surface. It's not unreasonable for Oregon to win, I think they can certainly keep it close. Weather is perfect and they can score with the best of them. They say home field advantage is worth 3 points, I could not imagine OSU being 11.5 points favorites in Eugene, I think this spread it too high.

11.5 would be neutral field if in Eugene would be 8.5 if using home field worth 3 points logic.

Oregon +8.5 in Eugene still seems insanely high.

I think everyone agrees Ohio St. is going to score. So if you think Oregon can keep up maybe do the Over. That way gives you 2 chances to win. If Ohio St. wins 42-24 or something like that, or if the game is close where both teams are in the 30s.

Edit: Well, that take certainly aged well.

    Took Illinois +10.5.

Virginia up 14-0 in like 5 minutes. Damn, looks like it is just going to be one of those weeks.

I am on pace to go 0-7 on the plays I have made so far.

Took O32 for the 2nd half of Ohio St game. Doubling down.
