I like it. It looks like this season of Homeland will be the best one in years.
Finally, we will learn what a Hillary Clinton Presidency will look like. The female President is portrayed as vengeful, stubborn, and acting in her own best interests and will murder people without a second thought.
so basically mintjewlips is now a head writer for this show?

God bless you guys. I gave up a season ago.
fast forwarding in 5s jumps through every carrie scene is literally the stuff of dreams.
also the fake alex jones' speech to sol at the table was actually pretty well done and an interesting moment in an otherwise country fuckin stupid show.

finally watched season finale. could have been a worse season.
final season (allegedly) will take place after a substantial time jump and be located primarily in israel.
it seems weird to me that they would let this die after one more season given that they have nothing to replace it with, basically.

The first few seasons of this show were pretty good.
The last couple of seasons were so so.
This is the final season.
omg yall the presidents chopper went down and apparently no one has any sort of tracking device on it, no one was in radio communication with the pilot, and there is no such thing as satellite thermal imaging or air cover in this alternate universe we are expected to believe exists.

honestly i liked how it wrapped up. i thought it was a bold, logical, yet somehow unexpected arc for carrie.
THAT SAID.
russian guy romance was totally out of left field and makes absolutely no sense considering his previous behavior/role.
they seem to have tons of great tech available except when it might be most useful.
the idea that they would ever have two (2) presidents on one military helicopter is laughable.
the idea that they would let that helicopter into contested military area without at LEAST one c130 gunship much less a fleet of drones with full IR for support is honestly impossible to take seriously, its way beyond a 'suspend disbelief' moment. they couldnt even pull up a satellite feed. but when they want to track carrie in her car its like beep boop feed up on the plasma.
but yeah all said and done, i feel like they stuck the landing enough not to get roasted. and thats something to be proud of in this day and age.
