It should also be noted that Bodog has been using bodog.co.uk and bovada.lv for its operations since April 2011, so bodog.com isn't really used very much anymore.

The .com url has been seized for a long time now but they still have the .eu.

Ayre, along with James Philip, David Ferguson and Derrick Maloney, have been accused violating the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act for accepting money from U.S. gamblers to make bets after the law was passed in 2006.
A previous version of this story stated that U.S. authorities had recently seized the Bodog.com domain. That seizure actually occurred in 2012.

Haley says it was given back to them at some point, but just re-seized recently.
It might have but I've accidentally loaded up the .com page a few times over the last year or two and always saw the homeland security logo anytime I loaded bodog.com.
Regardless, as you said in the original post the dot com url has been worthless since shortly after Black Friday.

According to a fast Google search they claim Ayre is worth about $1 to $1.5 billion dollars. It's hard to say but with all the years they were operating not just poker but a sportsbook and casino that shouldn't surprise anyone. If you got a billion invested places with even a lower risk profile and make 5% a year it's nice $50 million per year in interest to screw around with. The rich will always get richer obv.
