Maryland attempting to extradite Calvin Ayre

It's not as bad as it sounds.

Most believe that Ayre can probably dodge extradition if he wants, but that the government is simply trying to hit him with something stressful and embarrassing, thus forcing him to settle (likely financially) in some way.

So it's probably a money grab.

I won't withdraw from Bovada... at least not yet.

Also, I think Calvin is gone from Bodog at this point anyway.

Still surprised that Bodog was able to dodge getting busted for all these years.

Calvin Ayre current affiliation with Bodog/Bovada is unknown. It's widespread that he's been gone for a while but I'm guessing that might mean not in charge ofany daily operations but still collecting checks.

Their are rumors he's been working a settlement out for a while now but unlike Pokerstars and Full Tilt the Bodog network has offered sports betting which is the big no no especially when you go off the wire act that was designed for that.

Calvin won't ever step foot in this country again otherwise you can bet he gets taken into custody. The only chance I can see them getting him here is if he's on a plane flying over America that has to make some stop in the USA where he's grabbed at that point.

I wouldn't worry about Bovada at the moment since this could take years but like any site serving Americans I will always say only keep what you need to play on there or an amount you can afford to lose if the worst happens. No poker site is designed to be a bank account.
