      shortbuspoker: totally agree
Just because you can doesn't always mean you should.

The problem with the world today is that nobody does anything based on principal anymore.

If you reach your 80's, consider your life in overtime. Sudden death overtime.

I'll never understand how swimmers get bitten by sharks. Can they not hear the music?

Should anyone invite you to watch a 'movie' called HESHER, politely accept and as you reach minute three, grab the the cleaver you've hidden under a throw pillow and hack your host to death, all the while taping your actions with a hidden mini-cam.

No court in the land would consider your actions inappropriate.

Rainn Wilson, THE OFFICE, and the kid from,THE THIRD ROCK FROM THE SUN, who must not have read the script, appear on screen.

I like Ferrell in most of what he does but there's something about Zach Galifianakis that makes me laugh many times in a movie which is somewhat rare for me.

So, I saw The Campaign sitting in the Netflix lineup and I figured I couldn't lose.

Anyway, I thought it was funny from start to finish and there is a scene with Galifianakis with his family conversing around the dinner table that had me in stitches. It was successful because of the writing obv., but Zac G's reactions to what was said made it a classic scene.

Haven't seen either of these movies yet but I always liked saving private ryan and apocalypse now.

the last movie I watched was sin city: a dame to kill for, what a fucking let down after all these years.

Downloaded and watched it this morning. You would think that Liam Neeson playing the hard ass fixer type character would get old but it doesn't.

It's a documentary that exposes two geniuses.

One a Dutch Renaissance painter who painted like no other

before him, the other a rich Hollywood type who

finds there is something rotten in the state of Holland.

    Fascinating. 8/10

    Netflix

The Living Daylights. Not one of the best Bond films, nor one of the worst. Very middle of the road for the franchise.

It wasn't bad for what it was. It wasn't a major studio release so there probably wasn't a huge budget. It did seem though like they tried to cram a lot into a short time period instead of fully developing some of the plot lines.

Sean Penn is alive and well. Just saw this and loved it. Penn may have
borrowed "Cheyenne" from Ozzy but still, great acting.

Cheyenne, a retired rock star living off his royalties in Dublin, returns to New York City to find the man responsible for a humiliation suffered by his recently deceased father during W.W.II.

    Also stars
    Frances McDormand.
