    Last movie you watched?

Often stuck for finding a decent movie and got big form for picking out shite. So post here if you watch a film you enjoyed and I'll get them watched at some point.

Last one I watched was "Enough Said".. was a bit of a birds film tbh, but deffo worth a watch with your missus.

And just about to watch "Monster's Ball". Rated highly on IMDB, but no doubt it'll be garbage with my form.

Watched Edge of Tomorrow last night, partly because of this post. Fun movie. Tom Cruise killing aliens? Good enough for me.

As for old shit, just re-watched Dog Day Afternoon a week or so ago. A classic that maybe flies under the radar.

Under the radar is what I'm mostly looking for. Great being taken by surprise by a film you didn't even know was out there.

Not seen Dog Day Afternoon, but will try get it watched.

Even subtitled films. Must be a treasure trove of foreign shit just waiting to be seen too.

I watched 'The Deer Hunter' for the first time ever a couple of weeks ago.

    Was not prepared. Good though.

Apparently it was known that John Cazale was about to go DD and they shot all of his scenes before he died. He never saw the finished product.

I always herd that Raging Bull was a great movie but never watched it until recently. Likely this was the movie that put Martin Scorsese on the road to becoming a legend in the film making industry.
a young DeNiro was shredded and fucking at the top of his game

Pesci is easily one of my top 10 favourite actors oddly plays Jake LaMotta's relatively level headed brother

you know you are watching a good movie when you wince and look away during intense seines

    would watch again fairly soon.

If you don't mind subtitles and want to watch one of the most brutal films ever created, consider 'Blind Shaft,' it's about a pair of low-life Chinese miners who also work as con-artists. I don't want to say more so as not to spoil the brutality of watching just the first fifteen minutes. Definitely a stomach-churning movie that will leave an impact on the viewer.

    A few come to mind...

"I Served the King of England", a Czech comedy with some sex and irony--a Charlie Chaplin like main character

"Roshamon", a Japanese drama about people's vanity and truthfulness

"Amelie", a French romantic comedy about a young girl that plays tricks on people to get revenge

Should anyone invite you to watch a 'movie' called HESHER, politely accept and as you reach minute three, grab the the cleaver you've hidden under a throw pillow and hack your host to death, all the while taping your actions with a hidden mini-cam.

No court in the land would consider your actions inappropriate.

Rainn Wilson, THE OFFICE, and the kid from,THE THIRD ROCK FROM THE SUN, who must not have read the script, appear on screen.

    Zombies of the Stratosphere (1952)

This movie has a great plot. Martians come to Earth to build an H Bomb to blast Earth out of its orbit, then replace it with Mars so Mars can have nicer weather. Lots of action, gunfights, rocketships, even a robot built to rob a bank. However there are no Zombies or any mention of the stratosphere The hero has his own rocket suit to fly around in. Suit actually has an Up and Down switch on it.

Leonard Nimoy is one of the Martians. Its worth a good laugh if you enjoy ridiculing what you are watching.

Watched this old Clive Owen film tonight called Croupier:

It was much better than I was expecting; an intelligent, thought-provoking, realistic crime drama.
