let's talk about wood

i just had tree work done and have all this cut up pine lying around. i mean tons of this stuff. since jewdonk hasn't moved to the northeast yet people usually have to pay to get rid of this stuff. what else could i do to get rid of it, besides getting a burning permit and having a huge fire, that will only smolder?.

i wonder if i could turn them into those swedish torches w/ a long drill bit?
