    Betting on WSOP final table

    Todd,

I noticed that the Westgate has numbers up on the final table and wondered if you could give me your opinion. I know there's plenty of juice with these lines but the degenerate I am still craves the action.

Long time listener first time caller, (of sorts)
    Vegasvic

    Jorryt Van Hoof 11/4
    Felix Stephenson 4/1
    Mark Newhouse 9/2
    Andoni Larrabe 7/1
    Dan Sindelar 7/1
    Martin Jacobson 8/1
    William Pappaconstantinou 10/1
    William Tonking 12/1
    Bruno Politano 15/1

    Welcome to the forum.

I'll be in Vegas this weekend & I'm gonna see about putting a little bet on Mark Newhouse just for the sweat.

I was thinking the same considering Newhouse's track record the last two years. Just not sure 9/2 is enough.

I’m a big hockey fan as well and really look forward to tomorrow. Thanks for the welcome.

I know nothing about his mtt game but ive played a lot limit cash games with him since last years FT and whatever leaks whether drugs or whatever seem to have been sorted out. Hes a very smart, nice kid and gave off no hint of anything but good clean livin. Also his gf is a favorite in most 60/120 commerce lineups.

Should be able to get a line on this at any CET property I would assume.

There is no 60/120 lineup anymore. Game almost never goes these days.

Oh, and welcome to the site, Vic.

They had a segment with Mark Newhouse on tonight's WSOP broadcast. Mark says he is a degenerate and it's the life that he lives!

    Starts about 6:25 in:

I'm tempted to have an interest bet, Betfair's current odds.

Only move at the Westgate is Dan Sindelar from +700 to +650 but with the final table just 9 days away I’m sure there will be more. Come on Todd. Where’s the sharp money at?

Can you post a current screenshot of any of your accounts with more than $22.75 in them?

    B. Just showing support for Mark.
    3. Funny coming from a guy who spams the forums with his $3 tourney hand histories.

I do understand that the juice on these future prop bets is hard to overcome, (around 23% house hold). Add in the variance of tournament poker and this really is a crap shoot.

    ......................odds......probability#
    Hoff................11/4...........27%
    Stephenson......4/1...........20
    Newhouse.........9/2..........18
    Larrabe.............7/1..........12
    Sindelar............7/1...........12
    Jacobson...........8/1..........11
    Pappa...............10/1.........9
    Tonking.............12/1.........8
    Politano.............15/1.........6

Newhouse has shown the ability to mix it up and difficult to range. Granted he’s run ridiculously well from the limited coverage I’ve seen so far from ESPN but when you factor in his experience with this venue and owning a competitive chip stack, (unlike last year), it’s not surprising he’s everyone’s player to watch. I love his position with the two top stacks directly to his right. But does he really own 18% equity? It’s difficult for me to imagine him, or anyone, winning this twice if they played it out ten times.

All that being said I’m probably going to follow Reno and Tyde.

There's 9 players, so of course if they played it 10 times someone would have to win at least twice.
