I look forward to this segment. The interview airs on 60 Minutes Sports on Showtime on Tuesday (October 7th) and not 60 Minutes like this article says. It's no surprise Gambling911 put out the wrong information as far as that goes.

I caught this tonight and it will replay on Showtime in less than a half hour from the time of this post at 10:45pm PST according to an online tv guide. Look for it on a stream site like livetvcafe or stream2me to watch the replay if you don't have showtime it airs in the beginning but I'm sure it will show up on youtube at some point.
A lot of the stuff that was already known about the pending cases with Phil Ivey is re-hashed but overall the segment was alright. Here is a summary from how I remember it as they aired it:
They start off talking about Phil Ivey being well known in the gambling world. Ivey says how he first played 5 card stud for pennies when he was 8 years old and gave his back story of playing in Atlantic City Casinos under aged which he don't recommend people do but admits he did being known as Jerome. He says he went lost his paycheck several times using money he made from his job at McDonalds.
Ivey says how he loves his life and admits me got lucky along the way. He owns homes in Las Vegas, Cabo St. Lucas, and Macau.
Phil Ivey was asked about race in poker and he says it's not a factor cause players only see green. He claims he didn't do anything wrong with the advantage play in Baccarat where he won $9.6 mil at the Borgata and $12.1 million at Crockfords. The Borgata paid Ivey and is suing to get their money back while Crockfords never paid him so Ivey suing them.
The casinos turned down comments because of the on going lawsuits. They mention how edge sorting is not illegal but casinos can ban people because of their skill.
Ivey wired $1 million pounds to Crockfords and $3 million US Dollars to Borgata to play Baccarat. He asked for several conditions including that they use a certain brand of cards which was because of the how they were cut.
Phil also requested the casino use a shuffle machine, have an Asian dealer since they are experienced in dealing Baccarat (Punto Banco), and he brought along an Asian companion who was part of his strategy to execute his advantage play. His companion whose name is Cheng Yin Sun spoke Mandarin. She told the dealers in Mandarin how to turn the cards to help Ivey read them.
Both casinos agreed to all of Ivey's requests including having his companion play with him.
Phil says he had a 5 to 6% edge with his advanced play but says he still could lose.
Both casinos say he wasn't forthcoming in his requests after the fact but they granted him them which is why Ivey feels he did nothing wrong. The terms are supposed to be negotiated as "fair" for both parties and they feel that Phil Ivey took advantage of them but Ivey disagrees.
Some expert guy on the show whose name I didn't catch claims Ivey made the casinos look bad in this but he did nothing wrong. He also states that Ivey wasn't arrested for his actions so that tells you what Ivey did wasn't criminal activity.
Ivey states how he doesn't want to be labeled as a cheat because that hurts his character as a professional gambler. He says cheaters are those who bring in outside devices to play and the edge sorting he did isn't.
