One of the few times I was able to watch television while incarcerated was during the superbowl, Obama's election speech in 95', and one world series. I can say that I was with some of the worst criminals imaginable. We of course didn't have hats in prison, but 99% of the people in the room stood up during the national anthem.
I have absolutely no respect for someone who cannot take 90 seconds of their time and show respect for this nation.

I actually saw a guy who came this close to having that happen to him by an angry mob at a football game. Of course he had to be "that guy" and just ignored EVERYONE else in the immediate area taking their hats off as a sign of respect. Whispers started that turned into shouts and a back and forth once it had ended, and then a physical confrontation that almost came to blows.
He realized real fast he was outnumbered about 150-1 and backed off, but it was one of the few times I saw an entire crowd of people on the same side at a sporting event.
I don't care who you are or where you are from, but if you give our troops or our country the finger by your blatant disrespect and stupidity you should be prepared to get your face smashed in. This stupid fucking scam artist burnout is not only too fucking lazy to do ANYTHING except sit in front of a slot machine all day, but to lift his arm above his head for 2 fucking minutes to show respect for the people that allow him to be the loser that he is.

I don't know about you guys, but if I am watching atv and our Anthem is playing. No matter where I am, I still stand up.
I was also at one of those seminars a couple years ago where you have like 5 famous speakers speaking. Colin Powell was there. Some famous investors (cant remember their name). And Rudy Guliani.
When Rudy spoke, there was a heckler and he kept shouting "Go Yankees, Go Yankees" . Even Rudy began to laugh. Guy was eventually escorted out. Point is, some people show no respect for anything. But fuck that was funny.

There was some dude pimping a stock scheme there. It sounded pretty plausible as it was software / seminar related. But I knew it was probably bullshit. It's the same concept here.
