Just noticed the whole 5 series stored on my tivo box.
Is this thing worth scarvising several dozen hours from life for?.... Have heard it mentioned a few times but reading what it's about kinda puts me off...The Walking Dead is an American post-apocalyptic horror drama television series
Did try Game of Thrones the other day but decided it wasn't worth the dedication after watching first 2 episodes. Have been told that's a mistake though.

Not watching GOT is a big mistake. BIG!
The walking dead is a fun show. Season 1 is excellent, season 2 is good. It kind of went off the rails for seasons 3 and 4 but it's good TV at times. Season 5 just started and it's off to a great start.
I'd go back and finish GOT and then start TWD and see if you like it.
