Up in Reno, I think the cops impounded several Uber cars. The last I heard, Uber was operating in Vegas, but not on the Strip- making it virtually useless to tourists like yourself. But again, there are court decisions coming in and changing the situation regularly.

If you're interested, I drive for a similar company called JackCar. We're a bit more expensive than Uber. But we operate on the Strip and every ride includes a hand job.

My understanding is that Uber is driving on the strip. The only rides Uber cannot do (presently) is picking people up from airport and taking them to the strip.
